On our way to Outer Banks, we stopped at Grandy Greenhouse and Farm Market. There were many great samples. We purchased many things like salsa, pineapple, bread, grapes, tomatoes and peaches. Also, we picked up a couple body boards for our time on the beach. The boards are a better quality and had a lower price tag than any we saw near the beach. The staff was friendly, it was hot outside, but comfortable in the greenhouse/farm market.

Such a great stop on your way back to Virginia with plenty of shopping options. Such a warm welcome as you walk in, as your greeted by cashiers and other employees working as you browse around. It's great to have everyone willing to assist you and answer your questions. With plenty of fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices and with a fresher and better taste than what you would pay at the grocery stores. How can one complain ?? It's a competitive market out there and with prices going up, all businesses can do is stay current and be competitive, but if possible compare to ease your mind. OMG, the sizes of them pumpkins, peaches, tomatoes, and grapes !!! For your convenience there were sample stations of fresh made salsas, fried green tomatoes, cucumbers, and some fruits. For purchase there is a stand available to make you a fresh made sandwich for the road.Which should go well with their delicious peach flurry !!! You can't go wrong with their peaches !!! But let us not forget the jalapeños and other various peppers (chiles), onions, tomatoes, and grapes. With plenty of jars of jams, jelly, pickled fruit and vegetables, relish, Carolina fancy hot peppers, pickled eggs, molasses, apple butter, all natural honey with honey comb in it or without, and salsas. As you continue your walk you'll come across boiled peanuts (actually boiling) and plenty of home decor for anytime or holidays. The wind chimes look amazing as their hung on the ceiling for perfect viewing . And for the grand finale which believe me, your nose will lead you to the fresh made fruit pies, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, cakes, apple fritters, brownies, and scones. The pies though !!! Next time I will buy two instead of one. It's that delicious !!!!Oh and let me not forget the various of flavors of fudge for the sweet tooth. And of course some home made ciders and wines are also available for purchase.

Cute but meh! Sign says it's a farmers market but it is more of store set up to look like one . There was no a lot of fresh produce & fruits & I'm not even sure if it's really local. Other reviewers are correct that prices are a bit steep. They have produce, baked goods, canned goods, firewood, garden goodies, plants, beach gear & a lot of knick knacks. We got some veggies, fruit & an expensive plate of scones that tasted like they were made at Hostess with fruit you would find in a fruitcake, blech. They did have public restrooms, which was nice, and there is a nursery too but we did not go there.Staff was meh also - no one engaged with customers & they all just spoke their native tongue amongst themselves; no "hello" "thank you" - nada! I was not overly impressed but as always, plz try to support your local small biz. Cheers!

Great selction and vibe for local (and some non-local produce, flowers, garden decor, and baked goods! Stopped in just as they were closing up, because I needed Strawberries, and I knew it was getting late for a farmer's market (just after 7PM on a summer weekday). The let us in to grab a quick pint that were so fresh and aromatic in the car on the way home - mmmmmmm.

This is such a lovely farmer's market. I love the fresh fruits and vegetables offered here. My absolute favorite part is the back where the bakery is. The scent of fresh baked goods wafting throughout is heaven. The prices are very reasonable. You can't buy a ripe, red tomato that tastes this good in the super market for cheaper. They also started putting out small samples of their fruits and vegetables, which is nice (but I'd prefer they put baked goods out as samples). They also offer local wines and specialty soaps, as well as fresh flowers. I'll definitely be coming back soon!

Bottom Line: A cute farm market with fresh produce, jams, dressings, pies, fudge and such.Grandy Greenhouse and Farm Market is a quaint roadside market in Currituck County. The market is overflowing with locally grown produce. Depending on the season that could include peaches, corn, watermelons, tomatoes, pumpkins and gourds. But they also have plenty of sweet treats like cookies, pies and fudge. Pantry items include jams and salad dressings. So, there is a little bit of everything. Beyond food, they have bird feeders, home decor and other goodies. The market is nicely organized with delightful displays.

Closed for the season. Should update their hours & status on YELP. I'm sure if they were open it would be 5 stars. Using Yelp as a guide for store hours is misleading. Drive miles out of our way for nothing.

The produce here is incredible. The place is easy to navigate. The baked goods are delicious. Always fresh, because they are baked right there in the store! The cakes and pies are worth carrying home! The staff are friendly and helpful. If your on the way to the OB, you gotta stop for goodies. Ms Allie is a sweetheart . I have been known to drive all the way from Virginia for a pie or a cake!

On the way home from OBX, we stopped at Grandy Greenhouse Farm Market. We brought home delicious fresh Strawberries . They were so good just plain. Of course I washed them but nothing else was needed as they were so flavorful and sweet. We also bought beautiful tomatoes and corn! it was wonderful to find "real" produce that didn't taste plastic! Of course we did also have to buy the blueberry and raspberry scones! They are wonderful with your morning coffee! It was definitely a delightful stop. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly! Please stop at Grandy Greenhouse Farm Market you will enjoy it and find some great produce and baked goods.
