This is my "go to" international grocery store. I've never felt so overwhelmed in a supermarket before until I visited this place. I've been here a couple of times and I always know they got what I need. When i say they're international, believe me they are. its like a melting pot of many things you might need from all over the world. I've been to International stores, but nothing like this one. The ones I'm used to are small and the fish look fresh, but these ones have a better quality and they have an abundance of fish and several different kinds. It was pretty busy when we visited, but we came on a Sunday so there were tons of shoppers. They have music playing overhead and if you order from the fresh fish area then they call out your number/name on their overhead speaker. Parking is not an issue, it's at the mall so there's tons of space to park.

It has been 6 long years since my last visit and so glad to see the Eating Corner (EA) is still there in the back corner of Grand Mart! I feel like I stepped back in time, because it stayed pretty much the same and I think the cook is the same man. My SIL and I had been running errands with my nephews prior to arriving at EA/GM and was super hungry, so we were looking forward to eating at EA before we did the shopping at GM. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were told that it was take out only and that the dining area was closed and reserved for employees only. Ugh, damn you, COVID! But I understand...So, we did our shopping first, went to order at EA before we cashed out and by the time we cashed out and loaded the car, the food was ready at EA.Since it was getting closer to dinner time at this point, we ordered Kimbap and Mandu that are quick and easy items to shove in our mouths in the car before making the drive back home. The Kimbap was full of the traditional ingredients and tightly rolled. There are 10 pieces in an order. They are made to order, so it does take some time. If you're in a hurry, they usually always have Kimbap at the front of GM by the cashes and it's the people at EA that make it anyway (they also make the kimchi). The mandu were probably from the frozen aisle, but store bought mandu are rarely bad and they were fried to perfection. There are also 10 pieces in an order Just a note though, on the menu board, they are pictured steamed, so make sure you specify. I like them both ways, but I asked for fried so it could easily be eaten in the car. Plus, when they are fried, you don't really need the sauce. They throw a couple of soy and plum sauce packs (chinese take out kind) which are not really the right sauce for them. The plum sauce was definitely not necessary and kind of a waste. Save it for egg rolls. I was too hungry and didn't need the soy sauce anyway and they were great plain. Overall, you can't beat the convenience of the location nor the price. They are pretty well priced and generous with their portions! This visit was pretty short and sweet, but going back brought back memories. I can't wait to return soon so I can taste the Jjampong again and other dishes I used to devour. Hopefully it'll be like it was back then because they used to have the best Jjampong back in the day and it's still the same man cooking...but stay tuned. I'll be back to report!Stay safe, Friends!

The convenience of waiting for a to go order of fresh korean entrees and shopping at Grand Mart International makes me coming here more often than I should. It wouldn't be wise to shop on an empty stomach, so the eating corner is a life saver. It's either I grab me some kimpab to go or grab a chair and enjoy the taste of soondubu, grilled mackrael or some bulgogi. The plate size is huge and good for sharing. The taste is up my level.. and I am a frequent korean food foodie. I normally stop by the refrigerated section full of banchan assortments beside the small"eating corner" and it's hard for me to resist temptation of eating at this spot. You must place your order at the register. Sometime there is a hispanic women taking my order.. or the korean women. The korean guy there is the heart of the place with his authentic cooking.. I see him prepare my meals from beginning to end. Honestly, I wouldn't come here to bring a big party but I have a couple eat and run dates here. The seating is small and not a place where u would go for decor. It's definitely like food court seating. The water dispenser is there for us to help ourselves along with the condiment, sauces and utensils. The people here don't come out to serve your food. You just pick it up your order and bring it to the table. I love that they serve fresh hot food. I love spicy too.. It's better to order on the phone ahead if you plan to grab and go. Sometimes placing my order and shopping for a few of my normal groceries at Gmart and then eating in house works too. The price is right here. It is a must try for those on a trip to Grand Mart.

Prices have gone up for all dishes, an increase of from $2 to $5 each. This place isn't such a good deal anymore. That's an increase of 40% in many cases. It now costs the same as a regular restaurant with none of the charm since you're eating in the corner of a grocery store. Portion sizes also seem to have decreased slightly, a double whammy when combined with the price increases. They've also changed the seating area to cram in more tables. Ban Chan are no longer all you can eat and consists of only 3 items. Rice was crunchy an old.The food is still made to order and authentic. If you need to shop at the international market this an okay place to eat but I wouldn't make a special trip.

There is a new chef, different from the previous owners. The prices have gone up slightly but the quality and taste of the food has gone up drastically. I have tried the donkatsu, lo mein, chicken wings, ox tail soup, etc. And all have been very promising. Definitely a hole in the corner but the korean food is worth it. They also seem to have changed out the tables and chairs to newer and better ones.

It's located in the back inside of Grand Mart. Food was just sub par for me. I usually ordered to go. Last time I ordered Kalbi which was sour. It was such a shame such expensive beef ribs went bad and they didn't even notice and cooked them for sale. Bulgogi was just ok. Not eBay thing tasted like restaurant quality foods.

I like this place. Small spot, inside the grocery store. Order your food and pick out a table/seat. There's maybe 3 people working, food comes out fresh as cooked so you may not all get your meals at same time. Don't be in a rush for your food. Nice service. I definitely come back when I get back here.

Next time I will try the gimbap or bibimbap as they looked good. Don't get the noodles with black bean sauce (nothing like the original and lacking flavor). Mango smoothie was good though a bit thick

My family and I ordered three orders of the Mongolian beef. We drove home and it smelled very weird when we opened it. Then we realized that we weren't even given Mongolian beef, we think we got bulgogi instead. Either way, we weren't able to eat it because the beef had a really weird taste to it and it had to be thrown away. Unfortunately, we live far away so we couldn't drive back. This was a horrible first experience and it was very disappointing.
