Would give this place -0 stars if I could, my mom had been an avid Grand Furniture buyer and even praised it to all her friends until she bought a recliner with sofa and coffee table. She had her husband help pay for it all and everything was good until today when she got a letter from them saying she owes around 1,500 dollars, she called them up and they claimed she had been there in October when she was really there in August, they even said she would have to pay the entire amount...again! do NOT buy from here! these people have brought the wrong items to our house and it took 5 months to get the WRONG ITEMS! this place is really going under big time!

I have dealt with Grand Furniture for over twenty years and never had a problem. I purchase a sofa hide away bed with matching loveseat over twenty years ago and it still looks great. However I did notice while looking for a dresser that their quality of furniture is not the same.

Grand Furniture takes advantage of the low income and disabled. The furniture looks great they sell you a warranty that sounds great but a 3rd party company does not want to fix. You think if the warranty covers a child visiting me and cutting sofa with a knife (just an example) that they will fix but nails popping out sticking me is not covered. But my problem is we entered into a 2 year reaffirmation $1116.79 contract after filing bankruptcy. I was down to $237.34 as of October 25th 2019 when I hit a Mental Health crisis situation. My case manager tried to make a online payment but with bankruptcy they close the online payment option down and also you can only speak to a Rep from legal to make payments on phone but they do not answer phone or call back. I get home and letter in mail saying they have been trying to reach me for not making my Nov payment of $42.37. I have not received any VM from them. Please if you do not leave a message don't say you tried to reach me. So in Dec I made a payment of $70 to cover Nov payment plus $24.65 from Oct. I was back on track as to what I thought NOPE it would of been $167.34 to finish account paid in full they added $95 legal processing fee and $79.02 in attorney's fee added which added more in fees than what was left in account balance.I'm disabled and my income is disability I feel this was usury. I had to borrow to pay this in full so I would not have a judgement. I finally reached someone they told me It was a 24 month contract and I was on month 25 so they feel justified taking this to court. I will never again GRAND FURNITURE should do what is right and return the court fees.

Furniture is extremely poor quality. I purpose a whole apartment of furniture a little over two years ago and everything is falling apart. Protection plan is useless. I haven't even made the last payment. So disappointing. Also learned the hard way to double check interest on purchase. More than doubled original approval amount.

I had covid, got behind in payments, my center has closed several times. Now that I'm in a position to make payments they want the whole amount I owe, 600. If I could afford that I would. They will take you to court fast and are greedy, especially for poor quality furniture. I'm done.

Will never go again. Arrived at 7:30 and while sign clearly states closing at 9:00 the lights were off, all of the workers cars were on, and they were all standing by the door in their coats with purses ready to go. We walked up to the door to check the sign thinking they changed the hours but nope, still 9. Oh, and got stared down the whole time. Definitely not professional nor pleasant.

We bought a couch sleeper sofa sectional and love seat from the Western Branch store of Grand Furniture. We had a great experience with Arthur during the picking out and buying process. We went in over several days to sit on the couch we were considering before finally making our decision. Unfortunately this is where our great experience ended. When we bought the sofa, we were told 4-6 weeks for delivery as we got a sleeper sofa option and it was a "special order." Ok, fine we can deal with that. So imagine our surprise when the next week we got a voicemail from a young woman at grand who said our couches would be delivered Friday April 14th! Awesome! I called back and spoke to the same woman who confirmed delivery for the 14th. We had our old couches picked up on the morning of the 13th in preparation for our delivery. I called to confirm delivery with the delivery company on the morning of the 14th as we hadn't heard from them yet. They then informed us that we were not on the schedule. Would you like to be transferred back to the store to speak with them? Um, yes. Yes I would. We spoke to a woman who said our sales person Arthur would call us back shortly. Arthur calls back an hour later to inform us that the original woman who called us was new and had made a mistake. Ok, well that's ok. We had family coming in for Easter and we paid money to make sure we had adequate seating for them over the holiday weekend which was annoying, however, Arthur PROMISED me that the couch was set for delivery on Wednesday the 19th of April. Ok, not happy but whatever we can deal with this. So now Tuesday the 18th I call the delivery company to confirm delivery for the 19th. We. Are. Not. On. The. Schedule. I call grand to find that Arthur is not in and is on vacation. Awesome. Speak to Mark the sales manager for the first time who apologized profusely and says he is waiving our delivery fee. Ok, thank you. He lets us know he will call the manufacturer to see when the couches will be delivered. We get a call back with an "I'm sorry, I don't know." The next week my husband goes into the store to speak to Mark in person. We ask for two months payment credit to our account for the inconvenience which he promises us. Let's us know our love seat portion of our purchase was in and they could deliver in a few days. But our main sectional is now showing a delivery date of May 20th. We get the love seat (which we love and excites us for our sectional to finally be delivered) and proceed to go out of town to visit family which coincides with our delivery date of the May 20th. While we are on vacation and it's getting closer to the 20th I call the delivery company who says they have no idea what we are talking about. I leave it be because we are on vacation and I'll deal with it when we get home. We get home on May 21st where I call Grand to speak to Mark again. Benita (I'm sorry, ma'am, if I spelled that wrong) informs me that Mark isn't in but she can help me. She THEN informs me that there is no end date for our couch delivery in the system. I ask what happened to the 20th of May and she has no idea. Bless her for being so patient as I collectively lose my mind on the phone with her. She lets me know she will talk to Mark and have him call me. When Mark calls me back it's not a pleasant conversation. I'm frustrated with a situation and with being kept in the dark about when our furniture will get there. He says there's not much he can do but says he will again call the manufacturer. He's short, and bit rude, during this conversation. I ask that he please call me by the end of the week to let me know what he finds out. Mark never called me. But Benita, my sweet savior, did to inform us that our couch had a firm delivery date. She said "I saw this on my desk and knew I had to call you." I could have cried because Jesus Christ it's been 9 almost 10 weeks and we just want to have our couch. Benita then called me yesterday, the 2nd, to make sure I knew what time our delivery would be today. Thank you for that. I will never. Ever. Buy anything from this company again. I will tell people to run far and fast. We had to constantly call to ask for updates. We were treated rudely by Mark the sales manager, lied to by Arthur, and even though as I relax on my comfortable new sectional, I can't imagine this couch was worth the almost 10 week wait and sitting on lawn chairs in our living room. Shout out to Benita for being the only competent and compassionate person in this entire process.
