Jan 14I come here often. never disappoints, never had a dish I didnt like or a drink off the very large and tasteful menu that I wouldnt have again. Food, service, Atmosphere always great. And its even better when they have live music. Come on St Pattys Day but get there early if you want a seat. I rank my decisions to eat somewhere again as:1 star - if someone else buys it I won't eat it, I would rather go hungry.2 star - if I'm hungry, no other options are open and someone buys it - I would consider eating it3 star - I'm ok with eating it as long as someone else pays4 star - I will eat again and pay for it and be a semi-regular customer5 star - I will travel for good food and pay good money and be back on a regular basis and maybe even pay for yours just so we can go

This was the second Irish joint we stopped into. As usual, I'm looking for a great Rueben sandwich however all the menu offered was a "corned beef sandwich". Most of the other staple pub items were on the menu, but the service staff from the greeter to our server just looked sad and not very welcoming. That's one of the things we look for, folks having fun interacting with patrons and gives them the chance to upsell or recommend their favorite items. That wasn't going to happen with our server - he just was not into it for whatever reason. I've been to many British and Irish pubs and this one was the saddest I've visited. The pub itself had the look of a legit Irish Pub, everything else just subtracted from that.We ordered some starters and one round and left. Taking this one off the list when we're in Norfolk next time.

Great food and drinks. The food was hot and definitely fresh. We had a slip up with my order but the server quickly corrected it. The drinks are amazing. My fiance and I are definitely feeling the buzz. The environment was great. Live music and I actually knew one of the songs he played. It was definitely worth the step in.

This spot exudes cozy warmth of a classic Irish pub. Let's talk about the shepherd's pie--easily one of the best I've had in a long time. It arrived bubbling and golden, with a savory aroma that hinted at just the right blend of spices. The minced filling was flavorful and deeply satisfying, layered with tender vegetables and just the right touch of seasoning to make every bite interesting. Topped with creamy mashed potatoes that had a rich, buttery texture, this shepherd's pie was exactly what you'd hope for in a pub classic: rustic, filling, and brimming with flavor. My partner went for the Irish stew, which hit all the right notes of comfort and warmth. The stew was thick and hearty, with tender pieces of beef that practically melted in your mouth. Each spoonful offered a comforting mix of carrots, potatoes, and herbs that tasted like it had been simmering all day, bringing together the kind of deep, warming flavors you only get from a slow-cooked dish. It was perfect paired with a flaky pastry on the side, a classic touch that added an earthy, satisfying note. The pub itself added to the experience, with low lighting, rustic wooden tables, and that familiar Irish warmth from both the ambiance and the staff.

Dined in by myself while in town for work a couple weeks ago. Everything was so delicious, I almost couldn't help but to over eat I hope I have to come back to Norfolk for work, just so I can dine in again. The pub atmosphere is so fun and the service was great.

I have a close friend who frequents this restaurant and brought me here. I've gone three times so far, and each visit has been very enjoyable.I really enjoy Monday trivia nights- I absolutely LOVE the energy, it's really fun! I even brought 6 of my friends to trivia night who were visiting during Thanksgiving break, and they loved it- already talking about coming back when we're all here again :) The food and drinks I've tried were also solid, and I am looking forward to trying more!

Popped in while visiting our daughter in Norfolk for Thanksgiving weekend. The ambience is traditional Irish pub and the food did not disappoint! Scotch Eggs were the perfect blend and delightfully prepared. Not greasy or overdone. The salmon rolls are decadently rich and the balsamic glaze elevates the palate. Husband enjoyed the rosemary rich Irish stew. Mark provided excellent service with just the right amount of attention. We came at lunch time on Saturday and were seated immediately.

This Irish bar has food worthy enough that I might actually bring my parents to. Enjoyed a Black Bush whiskey, quick service, great chips, and the seasonal specials featured a watermelon and tomato salad with feta. Very refreshing. Unfortunately, the turkey sandwich with bacon and Parmesan Mornay sauce was so salty I couldn't eat, but a few bites.

This pub was pubbing! Lol when I go to an Irish Pub and I see fish and chips, it's my go to every time. Grace got it right with the large cut fries and the nice crispy beer batter cod. Oh and for the health factor, I had a Caesar salad which was equally good. The banger and mash with the caramelized onions were delish! Sausage had a crispy outside with a nice texture in the inside. The onions were sweet, maybe they had a little sugar but it complimented the meal well. There's a large bar with TVs and plenty of liquor and beer.My waitress was nice and attentive. As busy it was on a Saturday afternoon, she kept checking on us. The manager even came to see if everything was good. Great customer service! Will be back soon!
