Golden Wok I

My fave go to take out place. Love that they have pad Thai cause my man always wants Chinese and I want pad Thai so we get the best of both worlds. The girl at the front counter is always so kind. We left something behind one day and they called us to make sure we got it. They also gave me a key chain, and I look at it every day and think of them

Golden wok what is it what is it Golden Wok can be OK sometimes it depends on who's cooking because I don't like that they don't really don't like Do stuwhen they do stuff lol like that like putting stuff in the bag like egg rolls they'll call you a liar in a minute

The chicken wings were perfect. Everything else was a bust. The rice was mushy with hard bits. The sauces have an odd taste and are terrible. Every dish was unedible. Sorry, but this family recipes need tweeking. Was very upsetting because our hard earned money went in the trash.

Like picking up dinner at a scary pawn shop about to be robbed. Hot and sour soup was watery with little spice, even though we asked for extra spicy. Pad Thai is not of the Thai variety but an odd knock-off, again no spice even though asked for extra spicy. Fried rice was more crunchy than done and fluffy. General Tao chicken was passable but not something I'd recommend. Hard pass on going back.

Call ahead! Place was packed during lunch. 3.5 stars.This was my first visit to a spot that has been in the area for awhile. I ordered Chicken & Broccoli w/ Garlic Sauce extra spicy. This is this dish I use to gauge whether or not I like a Chinese take out. It was sweet and had a mild kick.. (Luckily, I keep crushed red peppers at work.) Sauce was a little more thick than I like but, still good. Flavors were balanced and I was pleased. Nothing worse than having bland Chinese food. I also tried the wonton soup thinking it would be a clear liquid. While there is soy sauce in the soup, it was tasty. I liked the strips of pork that were in the soup. The fortune cookie brand won me over! There is only one other spot that serves this specific cookie and I LOVE THEM! Quick service & extensive menu in addition to the standard! I'd like to try their Pad Thai next..

My G this is the closest thing to NY style Chinese in the area like dead ass ! My timbs got a little tighter when I took a bite took me back across the bridge !

So i am working out of a building in military circle mall. I am a little surprised at the small amount of choices of chinese food in the area. Found this place for my co-workers and I. It's pretty much your basic place. I am giving them 4 stars because out of the few choices they were the ones actually willing to deliver to us. Granted we had to prepay and it had to be over 15 bucks but hey, as a group of hungry women wanted food fast, we will take it! We will probably order from here over and over and over again.

Golden wok, so disappointing! have been going there once a week for over 2 years usually having 5 lunches for work and up in till their recent re-opening has been good. I asked for light sauce and to be placed in plastic containers because it tends to leak on the other orders. well that was not done and the guy working had the personality of I cant say ,but his attitude was like take your S*** and go. wont be going back!

I've been going to this walk-in restaurant since they first opened and the food and service has been top class for all these years. I work off Glenrock Rd in Norfolk and was pleased to find an Asian restaurant similar to what I was used to in the San Francisco Bay Area. You won't be disappointed at all. Parking is a little tight in it's store front location, however it's worth it really.

The folks are nice but this place is filthy. Rat and roach poop is always on top of the refrigerator. I've gotten enough hair in my food to make a wig. Now I've found a shard of metal in my broccoli. Sorry but I'm done. No stars.
