First time here and I ordered to go. Great customer service as she was patient and gave us recommendations. The inside was on the smaller side, but comfortable. A few folks ordered their food and ate inside. The food was all really good with lots of flavor. I look forward to coming back and trying a few more items.

I will come back to this wonderful place anytime I am in downtown Norfolk. I love their food, I've never had a bad dish. The sesame pancakes are my absolute favorite to order, I always get an extra cup of sauce because it's so tasty. The fried dumplings are perfectly done and not too oily. The lumpia is also delicious and again while deep fried is not super oily. My mother favors their green beans which are crisp and always super fresh. I generally swap between the beef and broccoli and the chicken with Chinese veggies. Both pack so much flavor and always have perfectly cooked veggies that still have a bit of bite to them. And of course finish off your meal with the sugar coated fried donuts and a fortune cookie. You won't be disappointed, come check out one of the places Norfolk's finest even stop off to eat. That's when you know the food is tops!

We ordered delivery. It came so fast and the gentleman was so friendly. Not to mention the portion sizes are big and food was delicious!Will definitely order again!

I stopped in at the local Golden Fortune Chinese Restaurant and ordered the General Tso's Chicken dinner combo with fried rice and an egg role. Let me start off with the portion size was a little small. My General Tso's sauce was runny and did not give me that General Tso's flavor I came looking for. The sauce had a very strange taste and seemed like the used a lot of hot sauce. The fried rice was alright and it is not your standard Chinese restaurant fried rice. I was not impressed with my overall quality of my food.

The food was hot and really good a nice little Chinese gem in Norfolk. Portion sizes were substantial and the pricing was very reasonable.

Very good Chinese food. The Szechuan chicken is really good. Their fried wontons are super light and crispy. Prices are good. Servings are good sized.

We got the king pao chicken and general tso chicken. Both were very underwhelming and the sauces were very thin/watery. Food was ready in 10 mins and prices were cheap tho

I have to say... hands down best food! Cleanest kitchen in Norfolk and the food is consistently delicious!! Today cold as a glacier, I stopped in for a simple egg drop soup and 2 egg rolls. Less than 5 minutes my fresh HOT soup and FRESH EGG-ROLLS WERE READY, package nicely to go with all condiments . Service was great! Can I say the food gets 5 stars all under 7.00 too! This is not a fine dining place but they do have some clean chairs and tables if you want to eat there. This place is my go to quick fix for great items.

I asked for friend chicken wings (every single Chinese spot I've been to has them). They gave me marinated wings. He did not tell me on the phone and tricked me into getting them. Then told me I asked for marinated fried wings which I absolutely didn't ask for! I asked for a refund and he wanted me to come the same day which I didn't have time for since there was only 1hr before they closed. Do not go here!!! 0/10

My family's favorite Chinese place in Norfolk though we did find our favorite dish and we stick with it. Too many places use "chunked and formed" chicken of some type in their dishes but Golden Fortune definitely does not in the Orange Chicken. It always comes with a generous serving of broccoli and the delicious sweet and salty orange sauce. For pick up they are always fast and convenient.
