Golden Eagle Grill

I often go to this golf course when I am at my vacation house in the northern neck. They have a great bar with good collection of beer and food. Mostly bar food such as soups, chicken sandwich, BLT, fries, chips etc. I was surprised to see the shrimp po boy in the menu. I had to go for it as I am a huge fan of shrimp po boy. Well, it wasn't a traditional po boy, but I loved it. Fried shrimp on a roll was delicious. They had hot sauce on the side so it made it better. Next time I will try their sandwiches. Broccoli cheddar soup was very good. It was slightly chilly outside so it made total sense to order some hot soup. Absolutely love the ambiance. They have sports playing on the TV. You can also play some board games here if you want to come with your gold addicted family so they play golf and you can hang out in this area and play board games and watch TV. Service is great. Very friendly.

This is the best lunch stop in Irvington.The service is always great and the menu has something for everyone!The golf shop stocks Cute gift items, too!

Ate there between 36 holes of golf (awesomely fun course BTW) and can honestly say I've never had "clubhouse" food that presented or tasted so well! The Po-boy sandwich is huge and wonderful. The standard fare of burgers and dogs went far above the norm, reflecting there ties to the Tides Inn I assume. Loved it-will be back for more (golf and food)
