Godwin has all types of meats for their customers .Located right outside of Ahoskie on Godwin town rd.

I have placed two mail orders in the last two months. Both were shipped and delivered when promised. The dry smoked hot sausage is absolutely delicious and travels well. For my 95 year old mother, it was a welcome "taste of home." Many thanks to the Godwin family for maintaining product quality over the years and for their willingness to share those "country" treats with those of us who live out-of-state.

In the late 80's a friend of mine from Ahoskie, NC introduced me to their meats & sausages. I fell in love. I live in Georgia so I was having items shipped for several years then they stopped shipping. I was devastated. My friend passed away but her sister contacted a month ago & told me they now deliver again. I was so excited. I will be ordering lots of items from now on. Great place with awesome quality meats. If you are within 90 minutes of this location, It is worth the drive. I drive from Norfolk just to shop for my meat here and enjoy that country goodness. They also will ship out of town. Really good people!

Meats are good but they are horrible when it comes to placing phone and internet orders. I live out of state and wanted to place several orders. Apparently only the owner can take phone and internet orders. The staff asks you your name and phone number and someone will contact you to take your order. Well I called them 3 times and each time I was told that I will get a call back. The 3rd time I called and finally spoke to the owner. Well she said I was next on the list and would return my call. Well here it is one week later and still no call back. Also I reached out to them thru email as well. Of course no one replied to that. They are very, very unprofessional people and rude as well. Also at the end of my last phone conversation with the owner, she didn't even say goodbye, but abruptly hangs up on me. No one apologized for not calling me back, not even the owner. If the company no longer desires to place phone and internet orders, than they should state that, not to keep lying to a customer stating that they will return your call.
