Gone for fishing! Great place for that! They have boat ramps , public parking and a porta potty available! You can even have your feet in the sand. Great for kids! Best thing about this place is that it's FREE! What's not to like about that???

Nice and quite beach park with picnic areas and real bathrooms. Decent sized parking lot but can be limited due to the boat ramp, fishing pier, and beach. The fishing pier is great and it's a hidden gem. Fishing license not required to fish on the pier but must sign up in the virginia fishing & game website. The pier is open 24 hours and has light post throughout but the park does close so there are port-a-potties near the boat ramp under the bridge.

Nice quiet place too relax and enjoy the beach. It's kept cleaned from what I've seen and the view is amazing. You can go on the pier and see the bridge.

This is one of my favorite beaches! It's quiet and not all all the hustle and bustle of Virginia Beach. It's well kept and LOTs of beach space and picnic space! Cons- parking, good luck trying to find any of your not here before 10am!! You can always park at the visitor center and walk the path. It with small children that can be challenging and the trolley HATES picking up beach goers. Bathrooms can also be an issue, there are only 2 at either end of that beach/park it's not an easy walk. Food- little to no options definitely pack. Pros- it's quiet, it's clean and great place for kids. So pack a lunch and head on out you won't regret it.

We went out exploring, trying to find a beach area that was worth visiting for the day. After a suggestion from camp staff, we drove over to this park. It's a very nice place with a great beach you feel. One side is for swimming the other strictly sunbathing as the water is rougher. We were disappointed we didn't bring our bathing suits but we plan to go back again with a picnic. There is a covered pavilion area with lots of picnic tables and a grill for barbecuing. Also showers to wash off sandy feet and restrooms. http://rvlostyet.com

Great beach and location. Not too busy. Will come back again! Friendly people, dog friendly. Wish it was a beach that allowed drinking but other than that, awesome!
