Ghost Army

Ghost Army is a pretty cool museum to stop at if you're in the Virginia Beach area!We happened upon them during our roadtrip since my brother-in-law was looking for a shop that sold re-enactment gear/guns. I don't believe Ghost Army sells any of the uniforms or guns though. We actually meant to go to a shop that's two stores down, but it was nice walking around and seeing the history behind all of the old war gear and uniforms they have on display. The two men working at the shop were very friendly and explained the history behind a few of the artifacts they had on display.Definitely recommend visiting if you're into historic military memorabilia! They have a bunch of neat items to look at!

I chose this location as FFL pickup based on yelp reviews, and it did not disappoint. Very impressed with the shop. Family run, great friendly service. Transfer fee is only $20. No hassle , quick and painless. Service with a smile. Also has unique military memorabilia throughout the shop. One of the owners schooled me on there history of some of the Russian artifacts on the wall.Very impressed , will be back again. A++

After viewing their web site it looked like the perfect place for military surplus. The many pictures of merchandise appeared to show a nice variety of goods.It was a bit of a ride for me so I was disappointed to find out that they have "Rebranded" according to the nice lady who spoke to me. They sell and repair guns and what you see on line that looks like merchandise for sale is their personal collection. Fix your website so that it represents what you actually do and I am sure you will be the 5 star business that everyone says you are.

This store is amazing. Jeremy and Heather and the crew have always been A+ top notch people. They've downsized since I first started frequenting the shop, reducing their retail stock down and focusing more on services. But the services they offer are beyond fantastic. Need a firearm or something duracoat/cerakoted? They've got you. Need something dipped in the Ultrasonic cleaner? Bam. Done. Custom rigging, sewing, gear modifications or want to commission a morale patch or better yet; several? The sew shack has you covered. They also have qualified armorers and gunsmiths on staff and can handle anything you can throw at them. They can also do ATF transfers and class III/NFA items too. The museum up front featured displays using gear and uniforms that have seen service by friends and families members of the crew at Ghost Army and each piece has history behind it. They also have a pretty expansive selection of historical firearms or unique pieces for viewing (not for sale) on hand. There is usually always a military flick playing on the TV too. I highly recommend Ghost Army for all of your tactical and gear related needs. Jeremy and the gang are practically family to me. -Egon

Amazing family run business. The owner helped me find odd ball parts for a custom build and even took parts out of his personal rifle. Fair prices and amazing service! I will be back.

Yes, that company is a scam and do not deliver as stated in website. Don't believe me try it.

SCAM! RUN! Ordered product and never received it. It's been over 6 months. After many requests for updates, finally requested order canceled. Response I got? "Done". Way to run a business, by the way! No refund received. Finally, after several more emails requesting refund, got a message stating "refund mailed in form of cash". Surprise, nothing received, nor a response for tracking number or even date mailed. Complaint filed with BBB, but I'm getting in line there with others they scam. Next step is small claims...Can't believe this place is still in business after reading all these reviews.

Simply the best--always taking the time to answer your questions and needs in regards to firearm regulations. Handled a great many transfers for me in recent years and never a glitch. Have also purchased firearms from them--they always have unique weapons for sale. I live two cities away and will keep my business relationship with Ghost. Try them--you won't be disappointed!

Bottom Line: This company is a scam. Do not order any of their gear on-line.I was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 and ordered approximately $300 worth of gear from the Ghost Army Tactical website. I pateintly waited for two months but gear never appeared. I contacted "Jeremy", who said he had "sent the gear" but promised to resend without delay. Two months later and still no gear; however, this time Jeremy stated that some of the gear had just recently been delivered--but, still no gear. Finally with a month left on my deployment, I asked for a full refund. Jeremy said no problem; however, the refund never occurred and he even said he "sent a check" to my address but it never materialized. I've filed a complaint with VA BBB, but, shockingly, Jeremy didn't reply to the complaint I left.
