Ghent Grab & Go

I love this place! It's so unique and has so much stuff from around the world. We went to get cold brew from Project Seed Coffee, and we ended up getting a slice from Empowered Plant Cakes and checked out all the cool and different snacks.Also, want that Disney Dole Whip, but are not at Disney, this is your spot- it's a Ghent miracle, bc they got it! Talk about Disney Ghent. The owner is so so kind, and was so welcoming to my girlfriend and myself. We can't wait to return when we're in the area again.

First time stopping in here and I do not normally review a convenience store... well this is like a convenience store plus local farmer's market, international food store, package store (with NA options), bakery AND they have Dole Whip on tap!! I've been driving and running by this place for a while now and my only regret is I didn't stop in sooner!Literally has everything from bottom shelf beer and lays chips to plant based cake slices! Local made products, imported spices, rice, beans, stuff I've never even heard of but want to try! We settled for a case of Liquid Death sparkling water (for cheaper than other places even on sale!), snack mix, slim Jim, sardines in hot sauce, a slice of vegan plant based carrot cake, local cold brew coffee and local hydration drink. Oh and of course some Dole Whip WATERMELON! We'll be back soon! Owner was awesome as well! Sean (I apologize if I didn't spell that correctly) was very nice and even talked to the kids too!

I was having lunch with friends at Golden Fortune. And Next to it is the new Ghent Grab & Go this is a new shop on at 230 West Olney. I had seen they had opened from the Va Pilot. And we decided to check them out. The owner was behind the counter. Very friendly and helpful.The place is a great little Bodega store for the downtown area. I found some items I had not seen I. Years and other items of International variety.This will be a favorite for a lot from the NATO community I'm sure. Definitely take the time to check them out.

I like this place for the spices they have. You have to go all the way to the back wall to find them. They also have a great selection of mung beans.

I'm Sri Lankan and it's a dream to find a place that sells Perera and Sons pastries in America. Came out perfect in the oven, and tastes exactly like they do at home. Had them with some MD extra hot chili sauce. They also have other Sri Lankan items, from staples like red rice and lentils to snacks, spices, tea, and sauces. I love trying their Jamaican items too, especially the hot sauces. Items are always cleanly stocked and never expired. The folks at the counter are very friendly and efficient. I only wish they would start selling home cooked Sri Lankan food.

We came for the Dole whip, we were able to get the pineapple and watermelon Dole Whip. Really good. We will return!

This specialty store is an absolute gem. Don't be fooled by the signs outside. It has so much more depth than a conventional store. Gourmet, local treasures, ethnic etc... You won't be disappointed. I have been specially ordering a couple items and prices are less than HT. Owners are terrific human beings.

This place is a gem! I am lucky to work in an adjacent building so I first stopped by to grab some beers on the way home and saw everything that sets them apart. International pantry items, awesome frozen foods, eggs and produce from Pungo and much more! My daughter enjoyed a Dole whip when we visited today. There's many vegan items and unique non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Sandwiches are good too. Going to be one of my main stops from here on out.

This family owned business is a welcome addition to the area. The space is very clean and the owner is very personable. There is an interesting selection of spices from the Caribbean and the East along with good coffee.

It's a great place with unique items and a solid wine selection. The owner is really working to make this place even better than it already is.
