Get Lost

Came back for a delicious treat when I was in town, I will always stop by if I'm in town! The people here are SO nice and I absolutely love the fun flavor creations. I especially appreciate the home made syrups and toppings, as well as the eco friendly bowls and spoons! The February special Berry-licious was so good! I can't wait to come back soon.

Nothing says cold winter's day like Hawaiian shave ice..We've been wanting to try Get Lost, so we figured why not the coldest day of the year so far..The staff was warm and welcoming and gave us a minute to peruse the menu, as well as give us a few suggestions..We opted for one of the specials (blueberry cheesecake), and it was amazing..As there is not a lot of seating where the bowls are made, she did let us know there was a small building next door where we could sit and eat. It had a few heaters and was set up just right. It was the best place to eat it on a cold day. .We will definitely be back.

This is a very new dessert experience for me. As a person in your early 40s to say that this is a new dessert experience, it a big deal. If you can't decide between ice cream and frozen ice, no worries. This is the place for you! They're very low in gist of this place is ice cream base with shaved ice on top and flavorings. I ordered the Ube, which was absolutely amazing. Keep in mind. It's a lot of sugar and I couldn't finish my dessert, but it was amazing.I was in town for a wedding and local friends recommended it. For Service he just walked up to a window doing an order We went late at night and there's a little bit wait. Flavor options are vast and chances are even the pickiest of people will find what they like. The flavor profiles are very dynamic, but not weird or too off the wall The portion sizes are bigger than expected. The seating is mostly outdoor. They have a small little Connex box or if the weather is not good you can hang out.

I absolutely love this place! So much so, that we came back the next day for round 2. I couldn't get enough of "The Chill" and my son liked their "Aloha Breeze." I didn't know what I was expecting, but the ice cream inside just made everything better. This reminds me of Matsumoto Shave Ice in Honolulu.This is a must go to spot in VAB. I recommended this to some friends and they also enjoyed the mango and vanilla shave ice.Pros - lots of seating area. A plus for the inside shack place with AC. Cons - parking could be a problem, when it's super busy. We were fortunate enough that it wasn't that bad.

First time trying Hawaiian shave ice and it was delicious! What I enjoyed the most was the freshness of the ingredients and you couldn't taste that artificial flavoring. I was hesitant to get the homemade whipped cream, but it was the perfect add-on. We ordered the Aloha Breeze and the Shaka Colada. Although the aloha breeze is the fan favorite, I definitely enjoyed the Shaka Colada way more, it tasted as a piña colada, with small pieces of pineapple and coconut! The staff is really nice, eager to help answer any questions or provide recommendations. Even more, they clean tables to make sure you're not enjoying your shave ice on a sticky table! We can't wait to go back tonight and try the other flavors!

Yummmm! After weeks and weeks of talking about going we finally made it happen last night and we loved it! This is like legit Hawaiian shave ice - I've had it on Maui and this is so yummy! You can make your own or choose from one of their pre-set flavors which all look amazing. They also have rotating monthly special flavors like watermelon, strawberry and Ube. Hubs and I split one bc they're huge. We tried the standard Aloha Breeze with fresh mango and thought it was light and refreshing. Their house-made syrup was delicious. The snow cap and vanilla ice cream buried at the bottom is a great touch. It's a small shop with some swag for sale inside. Plenty of outdoor picnic table seating and a small indoor area which is really cute is where we ate with our infant. Everyone was nice and the locals vibe is strong here. Happy to see they're doing excellent business! This is going to be a usual treat for us I can tell.

Very cool vibe that really makes you think of island days. You'll really be transported to a place outside of the daily rush with reggae music in the background and hospitality like you can expect from Hawaiians. The Hawaiian shaved ice is so unique and refreshing on a hot hot day. I really recommend it to anyone coming down to the vibe, creative district. T also have some of the coolest merch. Parking is to the side. Seating is picnic tables with umbrellas. They're also the site for one of the 10 murals in 10 days event!! Insta-worthy

Ok, ok I get it! My daughter has urged me to try Get Lost since the end of last Summer. So I'm very late in weighing in, but thrilled I can now anoint a raving 5 star review and highly recommend. So what is Get Lost? It's a HawIian inspired shave ice like no other in Coastal Virginia. They are located in the Vibe District near the VB oceanfront. The building was once a lawnmower business. For me you can quickly gauge a business when you walk through the door. With Lost being tiny the employees can immediately greet you as they did when I approached the counter. They will ask if it's your first time to discuss the creative menu options. The staff smiled and were eager to serve. Shout out to Stephanie & George. The menu is set up with bowls attached to names such as The Chill, Float on & The Sunset. Or, you can build your own bowl with around ten unique flavors. They even offer vegan and dairy free options. Each bowl contains a scoop of ice cream and snow cap which is like a frosting. Finally you can also chose from their Specials board where you can build your own lemonade or how about a banana split, they have that too! There are a few seats inside and eight picnic tables with umbrellas outside. The building behind has comfortable air conditioned seating inside. I chose to take up an inside bar seat and enjoy the show. The teamwork was freaking amazing to pull off the process of making these custom made shave ice bowls. They are honestly made by passionate staff who desire to thrill each customer.My Pitaya in Paradise bowl was cranked out in around five minutes and presented beautifully. The bowl is described as "Dragon fruit, coconut, lime, vanilla ice with a coconut snow cap" That first bite explained so much why they hold a full 5 star on all review platforms. The cool concoction made my taste buds happy to be alive. The blending of ingredients hit a perfect note from snow cap to ice cream revealed after you work your way to the bottom. Indeed I was blown away. Before leaving browse their merchandise. A combination of T shirts and other branded items. With warmer weather approaching it's the perfect time to enjoy a shave ice treat.

I am OBSESSED! I've been twice now and the brain freeze is worth it. They offer a variety of shaved ice desserts with rotating specials. Every time I've been, the staff and owner have been so kind and inviting, offering great feedback on what items would translate well with dairy free modifications. I mean come on. Not only do you offer DELICIOUS dairy free options but you're gonna verbally hold my hand to make sure I make the best choice? Be still my lactose intolerant heart. The space and merch are super cute. This place has style! They also offer a cozy outdoor space and indoor space to enjoy your sweet treats. I'll be back obviously.

Came by for blueberry cheesecake and pitaya shave ice on a cold dreary! The young man cheerfully greeted us and made our order of shave ice fast. He was so pleasant and did a great job preparing our shave ice fast. The desserts were a welcome refreshing treat that brought us sunshine on a cold and gloomy day! Highly recommend as a mood booster!!
