Gerry's Ristorante

Gerry's is no longer its name. It has had a new owner for more than a year. Now called Froggies. Still good pizza.

TL;DR: Restaurants in Cape Charles do NOT do takeout, but Gerry's does.When a family wedding brought us to Cape Charles, we learned an extremely interesting lesson: it's near impossible to find takeout in the town. The restaurants just do not do it. After calling several places closer to us, we eventually landed on Gerry's. It was difficult to find their menu online (much like the rest of Cape Charles). Gerry's is located right outside of the main drag of Cape Charles (I think) and the location is definitely easy to miss if you are driving at night. The building really sits on its own. Using the to-go window only (apparently they don't allow people inside right now) we picked up two sandwiches and a pizza. We were honestly just so thrilled to find a place in Cape Charles to get dinner that didn't require us to dine-in, especially after a super long car ride.I really enjoyed our shrimp pizza, which we ordered with white sauce. It comes with fresh mozzarella and garlic and is a really different type of pizza to order. We had it in the fridge for leftovers for days. It heated up surprisingly well. The gals working at Gerry's were nice and helpful and I think for the people that live here this is a solid local watering hole for pizza.

Less than $10!! I've stopped twice to get this delicious chef salad, it is the best ever!!! So many toppings. Generous portions of ham, turkey, cheeses, sweet/regular peppers, carrots, etc. it's enough to feed two people. It's located about 12 miles from the Chesapeake bay bridge tunnel on the right if you're heading north.

What a gem on the roadside! I've been camping all week at the beach and took a day trip to Cape Charles to get out of some bad weather. Not finding much in town to eat that was open or interesting, I was thrilled to stop at Gerry's on a whim. White pizza by the slice and a cannoli to go! Perfection. Big slices, crust not too thick or chewy, really nice quality mozzarella and ricotta. Lovely folks working the take-out-window, too. So grateful for this meal after days and days in a tent!

Delicious pizzas. I especially like the cheeseburger pizza. Seating outside. Nice staff. Cold drinks. If you are in the neighborhood, recommended.

The pizza is simply fantastic. No flop crust, great crunch. Everything stays in place as it should. Beyond the standard cheese with toppings they offer very creative specialty pies. Spinach, Tomato and Ricotta is a favorite. Calzones are huge and exhibit the same characteristics of their pies. Salads are great as well. A true diamond on the ESVA.

Great food, this place is a hidden gem in Cape Charles. Great pizza, Italian pasta and salads. They don't have inside tables likely because of Covid but the take out worked perfect. Great crisp on pizza too

This is simply the BEST pizza I've ever had!! We literally eat this once a week! I can not even eat pizza from any where else after eating this delicious pizza! It is always piled high with fresh toppings and super fresh! You have not had pizza until you have eaten GERRY'S!! The service is always friendly and fast!

Great, hot, cheesy pizza! Ordered by calling from my phone while standing in the bay and the pizza was ready as soon as I drove over from the LOVE sign. Easy pickup from the porch window and lovely staff with excellent service. Will be back next time I'm in town!

First off, the name has been changed to Snell Froggy'sOrdered a cold cut sub, person was friendly and attentive to placing my order. When I went to pick it up, young lady was also very pleasant to deal with. I sat in my car and eat that sub. It was absolutely delicious, fresh bread, fresh meats, extra hot peppers, wrapped in a napkin should I want them and a bag of chips for less than nine dollars!
