Georgia Deans Restaurant and Bar

We chose Georgia Dean's as a halfway meeting place between Raleigh and the beach to have dinner with some longtime, dear friends. We were seated at a cozy table in the back room, which allowed for quiet conversation in this bustling, family oriented restaurant. Our server was very welcoming and professional. The timing of our meal, from drinks to appetizers to the main dish was great! We had the stuffed scallops and the broiled seafood platter. Each was cooked perfectly and was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend this special restaurant and we will definitely be back!

The food was delicious and the wait staff were friendly!I had the fried shrimp and they were large and not overly buttered. The salads are very fresh!

Very lively atmosphere. Busy place. Friendly and welcoming. Staff is prompt and efficient. The suffer scallops are delicious. Perfectly prepared. The fried chicken sandwich is as big as my head. Seriously a very large and very tasty sandwich.

This a a great spot to eat in the area! Service was really friendly, the restaurant was very clean and I loved the colors and decorations, it made the place feel really bright and open. The bread basket was great and I got a kinky Kim drink which was delicious. The salmon was cooked well but only downside was that the mango salsa was a very small amount. At the end we got complimentary strawberries and cream which was very sweet (:

The food service and ambiance are top tier. We reserved the private room for our party and everyone was so pleased with the food service and ambiance. This place is a must visit if in Williamston NC. Even if your not it's worth a road trip to taste the food. Everything was fresh, flavorful and cooked just right. Out of a party of 25 not one person had the slightest complaint everyone was very complimentary of again the food, service and ambiance.

We went here last minute on a Saturday. We had a party of 7. We were seated quickly. My husband and I usually have the restaurants in a 50 mile radius covered.I was pleasantly surprised because we had never been here, somehow this fell off our radar. The decor was very festive for the holidays and somewhat nostalgic which went along with the restaurant theme. Our waitress was very efficient and kept our drinks filled and honored all request quickly and accurately. From seafood, to steak, and a juicy burger our whole party was pleased with their food. Although we were stuffed, the homemade donuts for dessert were tempting. Next visit! An aside, the restrooms were super clean with added amenities, a very nice touch. We will definitely add this to our regular stops.

A sweet spot to eat. Great food and awesome ambiance. The service was also excellent. Try the Trio. I loved it.

We stopped here coming home from the Outer Banks and had been concerned that we wouldn't be able to find anything to eat off of '64. Thank goodness we found this place, because its food is absolutely delicious! We got the shrimp platter and were pleasantly surprised how delicious and inexpensive it was. The service was amazing (Kimberly, thank you!!), and the ambiance is so cute since it used to be a florist here.

This place was phenomenal. I came here on a road trip because I read from another reviewer that this was the "best place in east carolina". They did NOT lie. The ambiance was outstanding, the service was 10/10, and the food was so good that I almost cried. I'm from CLT and I wish they had something like this place back home. Would make the 4 hr drive back just for this place

Great service! Our group of 12 arrived on a Friday night without a reservation. We seated within 15 minutes. Food options were plentiful and we all enjoyed something different. Our server was wonderful, patient and eager to please us.
