Thursday 8/15/2024Another year of me vacationing in Virginia Beach means another year of me visiting this amazing ice cream spot. Its still one of the top 2 best ice cream spots I've had, if not, the flat out best.I had to stock up the freezer back at home so i ended up getting 4x large cups of Oreo ($7.95 per large) for a total of $31.80.Oreo is still their best flavor with brownie sundae being number 2 but sadly they weren't selling any brownie sundae at the time since it's not a permanent flavor.Of course This is a spot that I would 1000% recommend and obviously return to whenever I'm back in VA.

What a cute shop!!! Most of the employees we've encountered have been phenomenal (I had one sourpuss last night but the rest of the team were AWESOME)!!!The flavors are both traditional and inventive. The names are fun. Also, YES, we did have it for dinner last night. ;o) We first tried this spot when we were in town during the winter and made it a point to visit again one our last-minute VB visit. It did not disappoint. I had a medium, which allowed me to choose 3 scoops. I got the Blanchard's Dark as Dark (espresso), Just Ask (white chocolate ice cream with Oreos and PB), & The Dude (kahlua & fudge)...all freakin' delicious!!!! Their mint chip is also super delicious with its yummy peppermint base that I super loved during the winter!!!Now we just need a location up in DC!!

I've loved Gelati Celesti since they opened their store in the Hilltop area a couple of years ago. Since I was craving something sweet, I decided to stop in a couple of weeks back and it was packed. Thankfully, they were staffed very well and we didn't have to wait long to order. I ordered the size small in a Waffle cone and asked for a scoop of Butter Pecan and a scoop of the Pralines and Cream. Once we received the ice cream and paid, we went outside to eat it since it was a beautiful evening. Unfortunately, after eating the top scoop which was the Butter Pecan, I realized that the bottom scoop was Almond Amaretto instead of Pralines and Cream. I'm sure since it was very crowded and loud due to others placing their order at the same time, the lady got the order confused and I wasn't paying much attention since it was so crowded. Nevertheless, the ice cream was still very good but next time I'll be a little more aware of which scoops I'm getting to prevent this from happening again. This store has extremely friendly staff and I will definitely be returning.

It's a cool and cute shop. We were the only customers when we came in but seemed like there were a lot of drive-through orders. Gelato tasted great. Love the spoon wall! Staff was nice.

During my visit her in VA, I came here two times..back to back days. The ice cream has amazing flavor that made it extremely difficult to pick! I honestly wanted to eat all the flavors if I could.My favorite flavor by far is the strawberry. I highly recommend it to fellow strawberry ice cream lovers. It's probably one of the best I've ever had!Also if you get a small, you can get two flavors. Just an FYI! Definitely also ask to sample flavors before. Staff is totally helpful and understanding as well.

After Sophia and I left Bonchon, we made a stop here for some ice cream. This was one of our popular stops during the pandemic where we can eat inside of the car. Since then, they've opened up two more spots in Hampton Roads. Well, we decided to eat inside at this location for the first time and boy was it a treat.Once we walked in, we were greeted immediately by the staff and having samples of some of the flavors. The vibe was very chilled and the place was spotless. Definitely a nice time of the day to have some ice cream. I ended up selecting salted caramel (2 scoops) in a waffle cone. Very, very good. Real smooth and not too sweet. This treat was the icing on the cake. Sophia enjoyed her coconut ice cream as well.Not a bad way to end our trip to Virginia Beach. You can never go wrong with ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth. Till next time :)

A mistake that I made is discovering this establishment while being on a weight loss journey.I am obsessed and it has become my guilty pleasure.The duo mix is absolutely mind blowing. It's a perfect mixture of cookie dough and Oreo. Every single bite has a nice chunk of Oreo in it. And it is just so creamy and delicious.I make sure to treat myself here at least once a week.If you haven't tried it yet, please do. ***Bonus: they even have a drive through which is just the icing on the cake. (Or in this case, the icing on the ice cream)

Another one off the list! Gelati Celesti has been on the try list for like, years! They have many locations but this is the one I see most often as I drive past for various things and trips throughout the week. I had no idea they had a drive-through! Awesome - it was buzzing tonight around 9pm when we arrived (they close at 10). They had tons of flavors and the gals inside were warm and friendly and happy to answer questions, make suggestions, and let us sample some of the flavors before we chose. In the end, we went with a small cup which is two scoops and you can mix flavors so we got my usual, mint chip and a chocolate cherry flavor. Very good - fresh - and yummy. Not the best ice cream in town (in my humble opinion) but very very good and hit the spot late night. Spotless inside with some cute merch for sale and plenty of seating.

BEST ICE CREAM IN VB!!!I can't even begin to describe how amazing Gelati Celesti is!! Since they opened I have probably given them well over $1000 from ordering their amazing ice cream Their flavors are classic but still very unique and they are regularly rotating, which is a bonus! I've never had a bad flavor I personally like chocolate dendance, melon, watermelon and blueberry sorbetto,gingerbread & peppermint during the holidays. I think they're fruit flavors are unbeatable compared to anywhere else. They are so flavorful, you can taste the cream just as much as the fruit! Even though most of their staff is pretty young , they are always very nice and open to conversation plus very personable with customers! Also whoever was their interior designer did an amazing job with that ice cream scooper wall, stunning!
