Good Food not much for the cabbage they add into the rice but hey they all do if different. No complaint's, sushi bar, fantastic

Big parties have to wait much longer and that would not be surprising if you were a party of 13 that just walked in, however our visit was planned and they DO NOT RESERVE HABACHI GRILL SEATING.Our chef was a mature gentleman very standard, plain and boring. So don't expect anything special from some of the chefs but in all fairness, there were some who showed some excitement and entertainment.Our server was ok even though she forgot to put in our sushi order, but the young lady who bus the tables was Outstanding going beyond her duties with assisting our parties with refills and more. Do I need to return, no nothing exciting enough to warrant a return visit. Even the food was subpar.

We recently had dinner at Geisha Japanese restaurant located just behind the Target on Greenbrier Parkway in the heart of Chesapeake.Mr. and Mrs. Lee have built a wonderful restaurant and their commitment to excellence shows in every item that they offer their grateful customers.I've tried many of the items available on their menu and I have never been disappointed with anything. That really doesn't go far enough, everything is excellent here.If you have never tried Geisha, check them out soon. You'll be happy that you did and you can rest assured that you are supporting our local restaurant community!

I made reservations for 10 for my husband's birthday. It's been many years since we've been here as a family, everything was still wonderful. The food was delicious. The service was perfect. They sang Happy birthday and served him fried ice cream. The restaurant was clean. The hibachi cook was super efficient and entertaining. We won't let it be so long for our next visit!

Geisha is very good! The sushi you get is made right in front of you at the sushi bar, habachi the same if you sit over there. Sashimi fresh and well prepared, I haven't found something I had issue with. Try the salmon and baby octopus! The service here was a little slow in the beginning of the meal but once you're served, the food comes quick! I really like the plum wine offered! Sweet with a hint of fruit, perfectly pairs with seafood.

1) Do not bring cakes for a celebration (makes sense since the middle of the stable is a hot grill ;-))2) They do not take reservations on Saturdays. Get there early! 3) you will not be seated until your whole party arrives. Pretty standard.4) Like many other places, they are seriously understaffed (4 chefs in a Saturday night). Hostess and waitress were really great though! Our chef had somewhat of a personality, but the chef at the other side of the table didn't say a word during that side's meal. There was no "show", other than flipping shrimp to people. No egg spinning/tossing, design for the oil fire, or onion train, etc. Photo shows how incredibly messy it was. He was literally throwing huge piles of food onto the plates. It really was laughable. Reminded me of the Chinese restaurant scene in Christmas Story ;-). For birthdays, they bring out a festive pineapple and sign a rousing rendition complete with gong. lol I will say portions were ginormous and easily at least 2 full meals.Also, I do not recommend the Filet. It had a strange flavor and was only made better with dipping sauce. Will definitely go with the Sirloin next time. Overall, a decent experience. I would not go there expecting the best, for sure.

Great food and portion size, great service, and great hibachi performance. The wait was long since it was popular. They were good communicating the wait time. Highly recommend this place.

The poor older lady at the front needs assistance..: She's controlling the wait list according to her also taking orders, bagging to-go orders and helping other staff... The wait is based on her availability... PLEASE HIRE A HOSTESS!!!What was slated to be a 45min wait is really like an hour and a half... They seat you and you wait even more prior to having a drink order... Next is the food order it took another 15min to place the order. Don't come here if you're really hungry!!! You will wait... We arrived at 6:45 after getting orders placed and appetizers... The cooking did not begin until 9pm. What a pity... So glad my son was patient, this is not a good idea for small children with a short attention span!!! Do better Geisha!!

So the hubs and I met my Dad out here for his 78th birthday dinner. At first, they tried to seat 5 of us with a baby in a car seat with another group until they realized there was no room..thank God they moved us out to our own area. They started out with a salad and it is was just lettuce and a small chunk of tomato. The dressing was delicious. However, there was a lot on it. Next was the cup of soup. It was different. I can't describe the broth but it was nothing like I've tried before. It had 4 skinny mushroom slices and scallions.I ordered the hibachi chicken and shrimp. I was sooo looking forward to this dinner. The rice was undercooked, and the shrimp and chicken overcooked The flavor was good though but I prefer less black pepper and I certainly prefer my veggies either cooked all the way through or raw not in the middle. Although the cook was nice, I think he needed to put more pep in his step (vim and vigor) and really communicate with us after all it is, hibachi!!!

Geisha in greenbrier has !!! Was eating and a big roach crawled across the table.. they came out and chased it down to kill it lol Never ate there again! No one at the table was compensated or anything... we stopped eating, paid and left ...
