I always buy my chicken wings from here versus a grocery store because they taste so much fresher and better. Yesterday I requested to Dale the meat manager for a selection of certain parts that are not on display. He obliged and they were ready when I got there. I thought that was extremely excellent customer service and really enjoyed my product.

This is the only market I can find out of theOrdinary items such as spices, pastas, and candy. We make a special trip to find things we need for our country cooking.

Went to Game's to buy meat. I left without buying anything as the whole back of the store smelled like rotting meat. Very unappetizing. I tried calling them to let them know rather than writing a bad review, but the person I talked to seemed apathetic. So here we are.

Heard about this place from a man I randomly met at another store. He told me that this is where I could fine whole cuts of meat to smoke. I went. It was exactly what I expected: it's a place where locally (most likely) locally sourced small enterprisers sell their stuff... and you can find a LOT of really interesting stuff here, from pasta to pork brains. If you are an aspiring chef who isn't afraid to explore something new, try it out.

Games does have a market for the area. They carry a diverse produce selection and decent meat variety. Other than that, I prefer the surrounding competition to squeezing my way in and out of Games. Games, with it's quirky theme, is a nice concept...yet poorly executed.1.5 Stars...

I love, love, love this market! Very nice and helpful employees. Excellent selection of staples plus items you don't find in your friendly neighborhood BoxMart. I've gotten some wonderful steaks from Games - filet, NY strip, ribeye. Fabulous pork chops. There are seasonings I can get here and nowhere else except the internet. The only negative thing I can come up with is narrow aisles. It's a small market and it's chock full of everything except TVs, computers, blankets, sheets, fans, etc. I'll take narrow aisles over a BoxMart any day. It's a bit out of my way to shop at Games but well worth the trip. I can get in, get everything that I need to get and not end up with tired legs and feet from walking a mile between milk and bread.

Supposedly a local landmark, but... ugh.An anecdote - I bought pickling cucumbers and the check out lady (who was very nice) had to look up the code. If the checkers have to look up the code for a common veggie, they must not be selling enough. And I can see why. The veggies are old and wilted, as well as over priced. The store itself is very oddly designed and dirty. The meat section, which I guess is part of what they are known for, is just a bunch of poorly cut chunks of meat wrapped in plastic. Not even very well wrapped in plastic; they leak.I certainly won't be back. Oh quality grocery store in Hampton Roads, wherefore art thou?

I'm quite new to the area and I have visit this market a few times. I never had a problem until 2 weeks ago, I went to purchase a few items, after having very young gentlemen check me out as I proceeded to leave the store there is a tall stand which has candies all the same color individually packaged. I picked one up to see what it was, read it and placed it right where I found it. As I'm walking to my car, I noticed their was the same young man whom checked me out was following me outside. As I approach my door he said:"excuse me ma'am?" I said yes and he asked me did I pick up those gummy bears? Not only was I humiliated, embarrassed, but I also felt that whom ever it was that had this young man to follow me outside and approach me as though I had stolen something, placed this young man life at risk! It could have been a very violent, angry person that could have tried to hurt him for just being approached. The white lady with her arm in a cast was the one who had him to go outside and follow me. She should not have placed this young man in that type of situation, that was very dangerous. I will no longer visit Games Market and I wish all would think this: how would you feel if you were followed outside, to your car and approached as if you had stolen something?
