Super nice people, they had a good inventory after searching 8 different stores gale force was the only one to have a 30-06 in stock and she loves it. Prices are fair, I don't know what the reviewer complaining that gale forces prices were to high he must be used to buying cheap gun that may make it through one season. Love the place and will be coming back.

First time visit was a great experience. The inventory is huge the customer service was fantastic. One of the owners, Sandra was really knowledgeable and so kind. I really enjoyed my experience and first time purchase. Will shop here again and recommend others to visit. Great local gun shop.

HORRIBLE don't waste your Time. We stopped by on Saturday and I can't believe anyone would but anything here. They have a sign that says they have " no ammunition " for Sale, but IF you buy a Gun they will give you a box and you can purchase another box. I have reported this to ATF and I took a picture of the sign. How sad they have to take such measures to sell their OVERPRICED Guns. I also witnessed someone picking up a gun that was transferred to their Store from a Store in Virginia, they charged 48.00 when the normal transfer fee is 20. I talked with those people outside and they have also reported Gale Force. TOTAL RIP OFFS

A great little gem of a gun store in Currituck. Reasonable prices and above average service make this my favorite sporting goods stop in the OBX area. Sandy is amazingly well versed and friendly making the shopping experience a pleasure. I visit all the shops in the area, this one truly stands above the rest for prices, service, and inventory

I stopped in on my way to my vacation home. Good inventory but their prices are in the stratosphere. A $800 firearm everywhere else on the planet is marked $1300 and there's no negotiation. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable but you would need to have rocks in your head to pay that much above the normal street price. Online sellers often dont charge for credit cards and some ship free. It's way cheaper to buy online and pay for the transfer.

Seeing a lot of low reviews that are simply over politics... the old man running the shop was watching tv while I browsed but answered every question I asked. Couldn't have asked more from them, had way more stock than I expected for a smaller shop... will go again.

Saw some very negative comments/reviews but the older guy who helped me (novice) could not have been nicer or more helpful. Knew his stuff and was patient with an out of towner/vacationer with what may have been pretty basic ammo and holster (leftie) questions. Had a ton of ammo (556 - 38 HD - 9 HD) and am definitely going back again before I return home. Will make this a favorite destination in the future since it's on the way both in and out of OBX.

Trying to charge me an extra $50 for a so called maintenance fee! Everything this guy has is over priced by 100%! I am pretty sure the guy has an IQ of 50 which would technically make him retarded!

The most rude people I have ever encountered! Don't go to this shop if you are looking to find any info. While they may have knowledge about the products, they except you to know everything to do GOD forbid you asks question you may get your head snapped off. Not to mention the overpriced stock. Overall a wasted trip. I honestly don't know how they stay open being that rude and arrogant to the customers. SMH!!!

I used this business for an FFL transfer. After being notified by USPS tracking that the item had been delivered, I called and asked about pick-up. I was told that the item, a handgun, was not there. I asked the lady if they had checked there mail box? After a few minutes she came back on the line and stated that the item wasn't there. The next morning I went to the local post office that delivers to that business and spoke to the delivery person. He stated that he had delivered the item to there oversized mail box, that sits on a side street, at 3:45 pm. the previous day. Now thinking that a stolen firearm with my name connected was floating around of course had me worried. I went back to the business and a asked if the item was in there possession. The owner stated that he hadn't received delivery of item. I then related what the postal delivery person had told me and asked if he had/would check his mailbox. He didn't seem to pleased being questioned, but went out and came back with my item (handgun). It had been sitting in the unsecured mailbox ALL night. When I asked him about that he stated" If I don't have it in my business I don't care where it is".I payed my $42. transfer fee, which is $20 to $30 at most other FFLs, and left the premises. As others have said, his prices are very high and his lack of concern in the related story will keep me from using/visiting this establishment again.
