The strawberry croissant was really good! Multiple coffee options for drip. Nice space with lots of room to sit and read or chat with friends, nice outdoor space as well. They sell a bunch of merch, some from local artisans/vendors. Also tiny stickers for $5.... That needs to be $2 tops.

if you are looking for good espresso this coffee shop is for you!! All of their espresso is small batch roasted in NC and you can tell. I ordered an iced honey latte and also bought a bag of espresso beans for home. I bought the Kill Devil Quattro Espresso and it tastes just as good at home as it did in the store, they packed It and airtight sealed it for me right in the store! This location is not the cutest but when your coffee is good I will drink it anywhere.

Front porch cafe is a great coffee shop! I enjoyed my nitro brew and a chocolate filled pastry. It had the perfect amount of filling and sweetness . The best part was the ambiance and decor. Calm atmosphere with fun things to explore. I loved all the art, the flags from around the world, and ocean art. You can purchase the art, bookmarks, and also Bridgerton teas and their coffees. I came back the next day and had the Huehuetenango Guatemalan coffee. It was amazing! Staff was friendly! Parking is ample, I walked there, so it also is easy to walk and bike to. The outdoor seating area is bright and colorful. I can't wait to go back to the cute cafe!

Best coffee we got while visiting the outer banks (and we tried a few coffee shops). The baristas were very friendly and happily helped us choose the perfect coffee for our liking. It was quiet inside, a great place to read, work, or catch up with friends.

If you want a decent cup of coffee, stop here. For being a Wednesday morning, it's pretty crowded. Thankfully the wait isn't long. There's plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. It's a little too hot for me, I'll melt if I sit outside so indoor it is! I'm content with my cup of iced coffee. They are a bit pricey, but for $10 I got iced coffee and a chocolate croissant. Bon appetite!

We first found Front Porch Cafe in Kill Devil Hills a few years ago on one of our semi-annual trips to the OBX. My sister is a coffee fiend, and we both gotta have our cuppa joe in the morning. We found this one (Nags Head) just recently and stopped at this one, since it was closer. The food and drinks are the same at both places, but these two have slightly different ambiences. This one is a little bigger and brighter (not to take anything away from KDH!). This location has -- I think -- more seating, and the building structure makes it a lot more open. There are several tables as well as a bar lining one corner -- complete with numerous electrical outlets for everyone's MacBooks. There's lots of local goodies for sale as well -- my sister got three of their huge coffee bags for $10 and took them home -- they're now on the wall at her house! She also got a bag of Dawn Patrol to take home with her....the day after our vacation she texted to say, "I just had the last of the Dawn Patrol...I swear it tasted like the beach." :) I highly recommend either of the Front Porch locations, including this one in Nags Head, for your coffee fix while on the Outer Banks!

Huuuuuuge line on a Wednesday morning for good reason. Very accommodating menu for diary free folks who like a cold foam! I tried an iced americano half caf with toasted marshmallow and almond milk cold foam! Order ahead is available but they also have large seating spaces indoor and outdoor to enjoy your treats there!

Yay a cafe at the beach that opens at 6 am! I know it's early, but some of us are at the beach at 6 am and need caffeine. Front Porch Cafe has Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head locations. The Nags Head cafe is located in a large plaza with ample parking. My directions took me to the other side of the plaza at first. After driving around I found the cafe in a row shared with other shops. When you walk in, you first go through their merchandise section and seating then the cafe. They sell a variety of local items. Although it wasn't listed on the menu they said they could make a matcha latte. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk and a chocolate croissant. They informed me that they do not add sugar to the matcha and if I wanted to add any. I declined and appreciated that they asked. The latte had a delicious, strong matcha flavor. If you like sweeter drinks, I would recommend adding extra sugar. The matcha latte paired well with the chocolate croissant. Even though they warmed up the chocolate croissant. The chocolate had hardened by the time I ate it and I would have liked more chocolate. Still it was good. Prices are reasonable and orders are accurate. Overall I had a good experience here and recommend this cafe to others!
