Fringe Society Salon and Eclectics

I have spent THOUSANDS on my hair over the past year at other salons... I would find a trendy spot & pray for the best- but would leave feeling underwhelmed & quite frankly robbed because my hair was NOWHERE close to what was promised... I continued that failed pattern UNTIL I found Fringe Society through my sister in law. To start... Holly the owner is absolutely the most pure being I've ever met.. she truly cares & gives you hands down top tier service from education to relaxation. She has such a wonderful servants heart! Holly is a wealth of knowledge with the science behind hair processing and it really shows through her flawless work! Fringe Society offers a variety of ways to book an appointment, my personal favorite was texting (I hate talking on the phone). Her assistant was so efficient and helped me with all of my questions, the appointment making process was a breeze ! The day of my appointment I was warmly greeted by the front desk & Holly who happened to be taking care of a client in the chair. I was given new client paperwork to fill out & absolutely loved the idea behind it! It asked questions about what type of music I liked, if I liked conversation while processing, and really just honed in on the full customer experience. I thought that was so kind! Once my page was completed I brought it back up to the front desk, and then offered a tour of the salon! I was so happy to learn that some of the items in the shop were from the local community such as handmade earrings, scrubs & so much more! & don't get me started on the amazing smelling beauty products Holly brings in! After my tour Holly was promptly ready for me! We talked and got to know one another for a couple minutes & I shared some inspiration photos... before I knew it were were off to the coloring bar! During this process I was educated and blown away about all the science behind hair coloring.. it was incredible how much she knew. My whole experience was just wonderful, the time flew by and my end result brought tears of happiness knowing that I finally found the best salon around, not to mention the most fair price point!! If one thing I know is right, ditch your salon and schedule with Fringe Society ! You will love them just as much as I do! I drive from Virginia to North Carolina, they are THAT GOOD!

First time visiting Fringe Society. Kayleigh was my stylist, with the very competent, Holly keeping actively involved in the entire color/cut process. Was greeted very friendly, offered beverages and a cheese plate while I waited. I was amazed at Hollly's adept knowledge of color, and the way she continually mentored and assisted Kayleigh with my whole cut/color process was beyond professional. Kayleigh is such a warm and friendly stylist who absorbs the knowlege the very competent Holly departs on her like a sponge. VERY pleased with both of them. Great conversation, great ambience, will definitely go back. Top notch knowledge in coloring, I was amazed at the extent of knowledge. Really enjoyed my experience! Would defintely recommend!

So at first I was very pleased with them. First visit went great my color was perfect but after that it was downhill quickly. Second touch up appointment the same stylist completely messed up the color by trying something new. Not at all what I wanted. So she left there. I had to see the owner Holly several times after this. She kept telling me no problem i can get you that color again but she could not. She tried over and over again but never got it the color I wanted. So lots of time and money later nothing changed. She would color my hair and within days it would turn. Made yet another appointment then decided I was done. My trust in her was gone. I went to my old salon in Chesapeake and the color was perfect. Not understanding why Holly could not get it done. They are very nice here but not sure about their coloring skills. Sorry I do not recommend.

Holly is an amazing Stylist and colorist!!! She is exceptional at fixing damaged hair and correcting poor color and cuts. When I met her I had very yellow blonde hair with dark roots and poor color placement. She took my yellow straw hair and gave me gorgeous wheaty ashy blonde with great high and low lights and perfect depth of color and light. I have very difficult hsir to color, but Holly nailed it every time. I loved having my "hair-apy" appointments with Holly as i never had to be afraid she woukd get the color wrong or cuttoo much hair :) She is a gem and just sitting in her chair feels like hoing on vacation. If you can get on to see her, do yourself a huge favor and make an appointment. She is the best!!!!

I met Holly in Kodiak. It was love at first haircut. Holly listened to me, encouraged me to try something new and I always left feeling amazing. Holly also cut both of my little girls hair. Did I mention she also does eye brow waxing?!Holly's prices are also very reasonable.
