Freedom Wash

I have been a customer of Freedom Wash (Carwash) on Sam's Drive in Chesapeake for quite a while now and I'm very pleased with the results and service offered.The only drawback was the upgraded wash that they were working on for quite a while. Going from 2 service lanes down to one could be a hassle at times but now that that is complete, things are back to normal. Occasionally they need to perform routine maintenance and when they do, they go down to one lane but that is very infrequent. I can usually zip in and get out quickly with my vehicle clean. What more could you ask for in a car wash?

Pay a decent amount of money for a half ass wash & no free vacuum! WILL NEVER come to this raggedy place again!

The high pressure wax setting on the self service bay left an absolutely remarkable shine on my car! I can practically pick my teeth just looking at it!

Look. I'm not one to complain on Yelp but this car wash was not worth it. I paid $24.99 for the drive thru wash. No one was there to scrub my car. Ok. It was night time. Fine. But you drive in. Stop and the stuff beats your car. Then I thought- fine, I'll dry and vacuum it. I'M NOT PAYING FOR THE VACUUM. I still have bird poo on my hood. I don't think my car is that clean... And I wouldn't be so peeved if I hadn't paid $25! THIS IS A RIP AND I WANT SOME MONEY BACK

Came to freedom wash to self wash my car and there was plenty of openings. When you pull in the self service wash, it will allow you to use tokens or a credit card to pay for your wash. I like how this had a credit card option, you just pay by the minutes used and when you hit "done" it will charge your card for the amount of time you used. The car wash itself had a ton of options to use- I used the foaming brush feature, wax coating, and the Rainex- my car looked so sparkly after a wash and dry! I only spent $6 too versus the $20 you spend on a dry through wash.I would recommend this car wash to anyone in the area looking for an easy way to self service your car for a cheap price. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because online it states you get to use the vacuum for free with a wash and I didn't not see that in the self service section.

This place has turned me off from automatic car washes. There's been no rain for days and none in the forecast for a week so I decided to wash my dusty car off. I took my brand new car through their auto car wash and did the cheapest option (9$) because honestly I only needed a rinse. Drove through and maybe I drove through too fast but the rinse part did not wash all the soap off (water pressure seemed low). So the dryer was blowing soap aroundI went to the self service booth and rinsed the car but also decided to scrub my tires since it said 6$ for 8 mins if you use a card and I had time left after rinsing. By the time I scrubbed the tires and rinsed, it was still running up time past 8 mins. MAKE SURE YOU STOP THE TIMER IF YOU USE A CARD.Then I got home, tires still dirty. Car a little dusty. SCRATCHES in my new car's paint. Some scratches are more faint while others are pronounced. most of the scratches were on the hood but a few were on the sides and probably in back, too. Brand new car SMH. Made me want to cry. Oh and the attendant that ran up to ask if I needed help? No mask on. We're a year into the pandemic and you're coming up to my *open* window with no mask? That shouldn't be happening.Never done a self wash but looks like it's time to learn.

First of all they don't make a star rating low enough to match the water pressure at this place. STRAAAAIIIGHT trash . Imagine trying to "pressure wash" your car with the pressure in your bathroom faucet.

Don't waste your money on the vacuum. Every time I come here I choose a different station and every time there is no suction. I've learned my lesson.

I'm not one to leave reviews but this was the worst car wash I have ever been to. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The car wash itself was terrible did not clean the outside of my vehicle whatsoever. The directions of the car wash were also very confusing. Then I moved to the vacuum which are advertised are free however are not, and only give you a 8 minute time slot if you pay with cash. Every car wash I've ever been to offers free vacuums so it was a disappointment to pay on top of the car wash itself which was not cheap. We weren't able to vacuum the inside hardly at all or wipe anything down ourselves. I always see this place full of cars and I just don't understand it because I would never recommend this place to anybody.

Paid for the $24 car wash and it didnt even get half the pollen off my car. It didn't provide a token for a free vacuum like it's supposed to either. Do not go here it is a waste of money. They also don't have anyone you can talk to in person and they don't answer the phone.
