You walk in and the aroma hits you..the yeast, basil, oregano, roasted onions, olive oil, and garlic. All the things that make a pizza authentic. Great food, excellent menu selections, and a staff that exceeds expectations. The quality of ingredients is far better than the local competition and the pricing is much better.

Rarely do I venture over to Gloucester but I happen to be over there and ran across this great new pizza restaurant. A good test of any pizza place is a plain cheese or pepperoni pizza. So I ordered a large pepperoni, but I also found out they had Paninos. I have not had or had even heard of a Panino until Luigis added them to their menu back in the day. I ended up ordering a turkey Panino as well. The lady behind the counter was a little hard to understand due to her thick accent, but took my order with enthusiasm and a great big smile! When I got home, I had half of the Panino and two slices of the pepperoni. Everything was delicious! If you live in Gloucester, or find yourself across the bridge sometime, stop in and check them out!

I can say for a fact this is some good pizza! After picking it up, getting gas and coming home it was cold and was still tasting great. The exact right amount of sauce and not dry. The greasy good more expensive cheese. Good price for a cheese pizza. We will be back there again and I'm going to LOVE seeing what it taste like hot of it was this good cold

Nice to have a new Italian restaurant in the area with great tasting food. Only issue I have is that the one place I thought would know the difference between a Stromboli and a Calzone, would be an Italian restaurant. Ordered the Franco's Special Stomboli and got home to find a large folded pizza (calzone) with dipping sauce. Definitely not a Stromboli. Had to eat anyway, so we ate the calzone. Will know better next time.By the way, they apparently have a two tiered pricing schedule. One price for cash and another for credit. Not a problem because I know there are fees for credit, but it should be added to their website, not just at the register when you pay for your order.Still recommend Francos simply because even the calzone was good.

I can honestly say this place is so new I had to add to this site I think it is by far the BEST pizza I've had between here and New York State Please go check them out you won't regret it

We love Franco's! We have had a few different types now and they have all been great! It's been fun to try new pizza styles. The Taco pizza is unique but I ended up enjoying it! My favorite so far is the western bbq one, except we get chicken instead of steak. The bbq sauce is delicious and it's not overpowering on the pizza unlike other places we have tried! The staff is super friendly! It's a small little place so last time we ate in, we had to wait for a table to clear but it's worth it! Oh, you gotta try their cannoli! Yummm!

When Franco's first opened the food was great. The prices were fair. Service was slow and lacked organization. Now the food is not nearly as good, and the prices have gone up. A take out order for us this evening was more expensive as the prices had changed as well as a up charge of three dollars for a sauce change from red to pink. Hawaiian roll and Pepperoni Roll both had gone up $3 each. Also the Italian sub price did not even match the newest printed menu. I asked management if they knew the price for the Italian sub did not match the menu price and they acknowledged it but did not want to do anything about it. Lastly I waited for the order to be ready and live 0.7 miles away and found that when I got home the Hawaiian and Pepperoni rolls to be cold.
