Ahhhhhh-mazing! I highly recommend Francesco's! Honestly the Jersey Shore cast would love this place. Homemade pasta options, special sauces, Mike the Situation would have drooled over the dessert tray. Yes, a dessert tray! Service was superb! Our waiter was always on top of it. We had a little bit of a unique situation. My daughter and her friend were out and about with us having their own time. We wanted to get them a table separate from us so they could have their own privacy and talk. They accommodated with no questions. We all had a wonderful time, including my husband. My penna with vodka sauce was fantastic. I got a chicken cutlet ontop and it was crunch yet moist. It was nice and thin. My son enjoyed his gnocchi with the special sauce. My husband raved about his tomato caprese salad. I sampled it and was also in love with it. Fresh taste! Everything was delicious. We did not have one complaint. We have marked this as a go to in Williamsburg.

The restaurant is in a strip mall. Tucked away and a small store front and seating. Service was outstanding the sever explained the restaurant's philosophy and the menu and specials. We had high hopes for Francesco's because we've heard great things about it, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations and we had a strange experience. If you want to come here, make sure you have a reservation because it is tiny inside. The carciofi viviana sounded good on the menu, but was smothered in large chunks of raw garlic that it was hard not to taste anything but the raw garlic. The tortellini bolognese was good and my husband ate it all. The pasta sovranita is listed as the "chef's favorite" and I was confused by it until I reheated my leftovers a day later. It is a hodge podge of ingredients that tasted strange in the restaurant, but reheated tasted amazing.The service was interesting. Our server disappeared toward the middle to end of our meal and another staff member gave us our check, which we used a gift card we were given on. We asked if we could tip with what was left on the gift card, but that seemed to confuse the guy. Since it seemed so confusing, we tried to tip by card and were told we could not do that since we already paid. We feel that if we ever came back, we wouldn't do so with a gift card.

This wasn't our first experience dining at Francesco's but we're still delighted. As other reviewers have said, it is in a strip shopping center and you would never expect such excellence looking at it from outside. But the inside is charming, and the food and service were terrific. Since we were there for dinner, we ordered an appetizer (unusual for us) and split an order of the homemade arancini. Superb! The garlic bread was also outstanding. The service was friendly but very professional, and our waitress was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Homemade pasta sauce and homemade pasta make a dramatic improvement over the many chains of pseudo Italian restaurants!My wife had the Sogno Cremona, manicotti stuffed with ricotta and simmered in a creamy Alfredo, then sautéed with spinach and chicken. Meanwhile , I enjoyed the Rollatini Francesco, veal, prosciutto and sun dried tomatoes with mam and peas in a creamy Gorgonzola Alfredo sauce accompanied by their homemade pappardelle. Luscious Portion size is ample - as our waitress predicted, we had to take some home with us. I've traveled throughout Italy and all over the USA and this is by far the most delicious Italian food I've had in quite a while. I love their dishes! Definitely will come here again and again and again! You won't be disappointed! We look forward to returning soon!

Fabulous food again with different choices this time, selecting from the chef's menu. Hubby enjoyed his Rollatini which was covered in a red sauce with homemade pappardelle noodles. Veal, prosciutto and vegetables were all so delicious. I had the Sogno cremoso which was manicotti stuffed with ricotta and a lot of mozzarella. Tasted like a white pizza without all the dough but so much better. We did start out sharing an app of arancini which is fried rice balls. Good but we've had better arancini. The entrees were so incredibly delicious and we both couldn't finish them so another supper! The server was spot on and caring

If you are in Williamsburg and looking for Italian food, you must check this place out. Food was very good. They have create an Italian Bistro ambiance within a strip mall location. Staff were very nice.

Ive eaten here with my family many times and submitted a number of reviews. I just wanted to make a comment/pose a question and shout out an amazing dish. 1. The Comment: we got delivery through their recommended provider, Slice. They were outstanding. Fast, nice and so inexpensive its not worth going to pick up yourself. 2. The Question: Why does the Palermo pizza, which I have been ordering forever, suddenly have fried, not grilled, eggplant? Its still great - but i miss my grilled veg. 3. The Shoutout: Gioia del Mare is absolutely amazing. AMAZING.

Originally from Northern NJ so accustomed to very good Italian. This place will not dissapoint. Wife had a stromboli which she loved, daughter had kids spaghetti and meatballs that she loved. I had veal saltinbocca, it was excellent.
