So very surprised at this place. It's an older hotel but to walk in to an oceanfront suite with a full kitchen and a separate bedroom. Didn't make it to the pool but got to see fireworks and sunrise from the balcony. The parking deck is pretty tight but managed to maneuver around. Staff was very friendly the whole time. The cafe downstairs was delicious also!

I never leave reviews because I never have that much time on my hands but I think I will this one time. First we got a call on the way there from them and found out the elevator was broken and they only have one elevator which I mean is not that big of a problem except it was tiring carrying the luggage up 20 flights of stairs to the 10th floor to our room. But my issue with the elevator being broke is they didn't offer any kind of discount or coupon or next time or nothing like all the guests could have easily said screw this and went to another hotel they need to be more appreciative. Then the elevator wasn't fixed until literally the last night we were there. The elevator service company needs to work harder at getting the service completed and the manager of the resort needs to put that pressure on them. Especially if you have elderly guests and guests in wheelchairs. My other observation I noticed was the hotel needs to be under new management or new maintenance people or new cleaning people one of the three. The room was good for the price and it was clean and I loved the kitchen and everything but there was just little things guests will notice when they stay there like:-broken/dirty light switches-broken wall outlets-moldy shower curtain -didn't use jets in tub because it smelt like mold-the mattress sank in the middleI'm not complaining about these things I listed it's just stuff I noticed that could be improved. The thing I'm most mad about is 1. The parking is way too tight because all the parking is literally in a parking garage that was literally designed for a little smart car. If you drive a truck like I do or even a good size suv you can not go past the first floor because the turns on both ramps are way too tight. So tight that it took me 30 minutes to figure how to get to the top floor and I also scratched my truck the wall coming back down. The reason I even went to the top floor was because the big rude woman that worked the front desk at night came out when I was parking on the bottom floor one night and rudely told me I had to park on the top floor because my truck stuck out a little bit. Ok? That's not my problem that's your problem and the dumb asses that designed your parking garage? I shouldn't have listened to her I know but I tried to do what they wanted but I'll never do that again. Then when we were leaving on the last day I was parked next to a wall so I had to pull up so my wife could get in and another big front desk lady with a nose ring came out and got mouthy with me and asked "what is all of this about?" Because I was waiting for my wife to get in the truck. By this point I was pissed off by how rude they were and I gave her attitude right back and she wobbled back inside. I would recommend other people to stay there but I'd definitely tell them how our experience was. It was a really good room for the price but the negatives out weighs the positives unfortunately.

We got this place through RCI. The view and its location just steps from the beach are the redeemable factors. Safety is a concern. Anyone can walk up to your room until 11pm, when access door towards elevator gets locked. We came back from the beach this afternoon and found our door was left ajar. My husband blamed an inexperienced housekeeper and not to say anything. We went out for an hour returned before 10pm and found a couple knocking ar our door. After approaching them, they asked if this was our room. We confirmed and they just shrugged and said they must have the wrong hotel. Weird. Will report this tomorrow a.m. and will request no more housekeeping until we check out. We would have overlooked the need for a good deep cleaning or the updating of fixtures (fridge and electric stove) but feeling unsafe twice on the same day, never happened to us before.

Pretty good in total!Good...Price, location, amenities, staffs, size, service, swimming pool, free bike rental, no parking feeBad...No tea, coffee, shampoo, conditioner,... I got mysterious bug bites and went to ER. Doctors could tell what kind of bug.I had a bad luck here then because I have a sensitive skin condition. Nobody got this issue besides me.So I recommend this hotel to the people who doesn't have any medical issues like me.

The location and rooms are great but they allow smoking in the rooms and on the balconies. So the smoke gets sucked into everyone's rooms if you have your balcony door open. It's a constant exposure to second hand smoke which really ruins the experience.

Just stayed here for the first time January 2024 after many years of my last stay. I took my husband on a mini getaway weekend from all our chaos at our home in Norfolk. I will say Brandon at the front desk was the best customer service person I have ever had to deal with. Kind, funny, caring and very understanding to my wants for this stay. We had the best time with the hot tub , 2 room suite and a beautiful view of the ocean from our 2 balconies. Sunset was beautiful and sunrise was breathtaking. One flaw I didn't care for was the this particular type bed. Nice and big but one mattress on a wire bouncy frame. I do feel like hotel beds will never measure up to your own bed at home. So we dealt with it. Restaurants in the area were perfect! Doughboys across the street had phenomenal staff. Great drinks and friendly people. Will be coming back one day. This resort can a use a renovation, but the room was a nice size & clean. The view was gorgeous, the kitchen was well stocked & the staff was professional & friendly. The only downside is the parking garage is tight and there is only one elevator, but I would definitely stay here again.

Let's go with the pros:Excellent locationExcellent view (Oceanfront)Like having a one bedroom/Kitchen/balconyFree bike rentalCafe downstairs is good for breakfastBeach accessoriesFriendly staffCons:First and foremost for me-the bed must be comfortable. This bed didn't give at all when you sat on it. It was more comfortable lying on the beach than the bed.Outdated and uncomfortable living room furniture.Pool is inside not facing the beach (on backside)Sundeck is not on the floor with the pool-again not facing the beach (on backside). This forces you to stay all day directly on the beach if you want to see the ocean. Needs a deep cleansing. It's clean for "home" standards but not for hotel standards. Corridors have old carpet, dirt around light switches and all over the elevator door.One elevator for 14 floors and it is slow.For me, rate is high but had no choice on late cancellation.
