Do you have a sweet tooth? Are you currently in OBX? Well then head on over to Forbes. Seriously. This confectioner states they have famous taffy and fudge, but they have so much more. Do you remember penny candy? Well....it's no longer a penny but I bet Forbes has your fav. I was excited to see such a variety.If you are looking for souvenirs then you can also find a bevy of really nice things to gift friends and family (or yourself) to remind you of your trip.The only stroke was the lack of red coins. I'm not fond of red hot dollars but the gummy cherry coins are my fav...and I couldn't find them.

We came here specifically for the saltwater taffy and it did not disappoint! Flavors for days and you can fill your own bag with what you want and however much you want. They also have fancy chocolates and fudge. Fairly priced too!

Cute place to get a slice of fudge and some ice cream. Lots of souvenirs to take home and the stuff is a little more high end than the big box stores. They fashioned a pickup area for take out ice cream with some doors (see pic). Also loved their bulk taffy and outdoor seating.

This is a great candy and gift shop. I have been looking for windchimes for my mom, all the prices were high everywhere else, windchimes under $10 here. Lots of variety. Ladies behind the counter are very sweet and helpful.

The lady behind the counter wasn't wearing a mask.We were planning to buy fudge but she told us the fudge in the case was a week old. She said she had a new shipment of fudge but she wasn't opening it now, and it would take a long time to cut anyway. We'd have to come back.We asked what flavors were in the new shipment but she said she didn't know, she'd have to look it up.And made no move to look it up.She was doing paperwork at the counter, and the store was empty except for us.We aren't patronizing stores where employees aren't wearing masks- it's the very least we can do to protect one another... but we also felt like we were intruding on this employee, who would rather be left alone. So we won't be returning.

Cute little candy store, have lots of salt water taffy and other chocolates. They also have Icecream and cute little trinkets. Staff was so friendly.

If taffy , chocolate and trinkets is your thing then you found the right spot .Fudge , Peanut Brittle , Sea Salt Caramel, Chocolate Bacon , just to name a few of the goodies inside.They were having a 20% sale on all gift items !!! Right on the Bi -pass road across from my favorite spot Mama Kwans . (MP 10)So if you need to satisfy your sweet tooth head their way !!!

The go to spot for salt water taffy and touristy finds. The candy area had bins full of all different flavor taffy as well as a dessert case. Fudge and taffy they just scream beach sweets to me! I skip through the main shop and only focus on the goodies. They even had dog treats locally made here too.

This was my first and probably my last time trying chocolate covered bacon. I hope that doesn't revoke my bacon lovers membership. I mean I love me some bacon but there was something so wrong about eating this. Not sure if it was the consistency or if my palette just didn't like it. I needed to buy a drink to wash that taste out of my mouth. Don't let my chocolate bacon fiasco deter you from stopping here. This is a great little candy shop/souvenir shop to stop at. Tons of other items covered in chocolate to enjoy. There are also many different flavors of fudge to indulge in. The souvenirs are a bit redundant for the area, but to be truthful, you are not stopping here for the souvenirs. If you are, you are not in your right mind.
