Foodies - The Local's Market

I stopped by at Foodies at Lynnhaven parkway on the way to Lynnhaven Mall in a small shopping center. I think I was trying for Mello Beans for the coffee and drinks. This was my first time there. I wanted to try the dragon soda, but since they didn't have club soda so I got that didn't order any sandwiches, but next time when I drop by will try those. I also got a ice hazelnut latte. The hazelnut latte was really nice. I think the dragon soda didn't taste that well. It sorta taste like medicine, Will try that again with club soda when they have it available.It is a very small quiet shop it is very nice and clean as well. I like how quiet it is. The service cashier is very friendly and helpful.

Run, don't walk to Foodies! Situated in an unassuming plaza near Lynnhaven, it's truly a hidden gem and word needs to get out! A few girlfriends and I took a cooking class (they offer classes for 4-6 individuals) and opted for one of the pre-fixed autumn inspired menus. I cannot say enough good things about the head chef and owner, Patrick, who encouraged us to have fun and be creative while sharing tips, tricks, and techniques from his culinary training. His assistant Mason was also fantastic and guided us through the preparation and plating of a multi-course meal.The atmosphere at Foodies was cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed dinner in their private dining area accompanied by some wine from nearby Virginia Beach winery.Beyond the cooking classes, the market features a selection of prepared foods and made-to-order sandwiches, all with a focus on quality, nutrition, and sourcing locally. Patrick is committed to supporting the community and delivering the freshest, most flavorful food to everyone.They also offer catering and private dinners. We will 100% be back.

I can't rave enough about Foodies! The food is top notch, the people that work there are all so friendly, and the store is very cute. They have merch, honey, hot sauces, peanut butter, CBD coffee and tea for sale well. There is a display by the register that has food you can buy by the lb or individual servings. It all looks amazing. There is also a fridge that has salads, desserts and charcuterie among other things. Location is off of Lynnhaven in a small shopping center. You'll see Video Game Heaven on the corner. Today I got the Keller sandwhich. It is soooo good! The roast beef was amazing paired with the nuttiness of the arugula and the sweetness of the grilled onions. And, of course, with roast beef you must have horseradish. The horseradish sauce ties everything together perfectly. It was just the right amount, not too overpowering. The sandwiches come with a pickle spear and fresh homemade chips. Ya'll!!! The chips are DIVINE! Never thought I'd ever say that about chips! But they are so thin and so crispy, and salted to perfection. I could just snack on these all day. Today, they had a platter that had little samples of their plant based peanut butter cake. It was delicious! I'm not sure if they have samples every day or not. I will definitely be taking a slice home the next time I come by. Trust me ya'll, come try this place!

I have heard that Foodies has amazing chicken salad. I was out running errands today in the area and decided to stop in. First impression is how beautiful and clean it is inside. There is a glass case with prepared food to purchase. The asparagus looked especially delicious. I got a chicken salad sandwich to go. The lady who took my order was so nice. When she brought out my sandwich she had me hold it and pointed out how heavy it is. I brought it home and dug in. It really is amazing chicken salad! Also, I couldn't only finish half of it because there is so much in the croissant. The fresh made chips are great too! Crispy and seasoned well.

Great selection of ready to go meals! I got the soba noodle salad, the chicken lasagna, and some chicken nuggets!

Wow. Wow. Wow. The Bourdain was so good. I couldn't put it down until it was all gone. Anthony would be proud.

This place is great! I discovered it because our milk gets delivered here but after a couple times I had to try a sandwich. I got the Ina and it was delicious. The pickles and house made chips were fantastic as well and really put the meal over the top. I haven't tried their prepared food but it looks fantastic. They have lots of seating and a cool rustic vibe so it's a great spot to eat in but what really makes it special is the friendly and helpful staff. If you haven't already, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Just tried this place for the first time. Stopped for breakfast. Wow. Was blown away. My husband loves breakfast bi never eat breakfast. He ordered the pastrami egg on sourdough. I got a pistachio latte. Well got another latte, took a bite of his sandwich and ordered two sandwiches to go for dinner. They were that good. The staff was friendly and added the homemade chips to go with the sandwiches. Well blown away by the chips. Can't wait to try their convienient to go meals. Had local niceities. Boughta handmade Brie baking dish. Gorgeous.

Foodies catering left us high and dry on the night of our event. no food, no phone call, nothing. we had a negotiated contract and menu so its puzzling. i don't know whether this is a scam company or not. If they refund our down-payment we'll at least know they exist.
