Food Lion

The young redhead with glasses is an ANGEL. I ordered pregnancy tests since my husband and I are in the early stages of trying and when she handed me my order she said "I hope it's whatever you're hoping for." And handed the tests to me. this was so sweet and made my morning.

Love this Food Lion! Very spacious and very welcoming! We also loved the Math Night they held there!

My wife usually does the shopping so when I am asked to go I reluctantly do so. Here is why: It's because stores like this make you use a discount loyalty card in order to get the sale prices on their items. I just got home and my wife wondered why I didn't get the sale price on the items that she sent me there to get. Uhhh, what?I did not show a loyalty card so I paid the higher price. Here is a tip to you Food Lion, if you want to garner loyal customers, don't make them jump through hoops to get what your competitors offer free and easy.

Love this Food Lion because of Ashley the cashier! She is the best! It seems in today's world customer service isn't important anymore! So I wanted to give a shout out to Ashley for providing fantastic customer service! She is super fast and friendly. She knows what she's doing. I am always happy when I go through her line! I am happy with the whole staff and store! Everyone is friendly! The only reason I don't do all of my shopping here is Food Lion is more expensive than Walmart and I have a large family to feed.

This particular food line always seems to have exactly what I need. Every single person that works there that I have encountered are very courteous and willing to help.

I normally have a really great experience at this foodlion. They have great great deals, and a great selection. However the people i encounter there are really hit or miss. Its right by my house so thats my go to grocery store and i would have expected to catch at least 1 employee on a good day. For instance, i was looking at some cheese one day and this lady screamed 'CAN I HELP YOU'. It startled me so much that i dropped the cheese, my phone, and keys. Then, as i was checking out. The cashier whos name i believe was rose? Im not sure. But anyway i walk up and shes having a grand ol conversation with a gentelman laughing and smiling as i was unloading with her back to me. And it takes her like 5 minutes to notice me... and i watch as she and i make eye contact and i watched as this womans face just went to complete stone. I asked her how she was and how her days been going and i got absolutely no answer... she doesn't look at me, doesn't talk to me, doesn't ask me for my mvp card. And this gentleman behind me had given me a coupon and i handed it to her and she just looked at me and acted like she didnt want to take it. The only thing i heard her say during my whole transaction wad when she apologized to the 3 people behind me for the 'inconvience' and thanked them for being so patient.. like.. WHAT? Thats so rude and ultimately made me feel so uncomfortable. I understand i had a lot of things.. and it was in the am timeframe but jeeze.. its your job. So i finish up my transaction and walk out without a goodbye or 'have a great day'.. ive never seen that lady before and she treated me like i had personally done something to her..

If all you need is milk and bread they have it. If your looking for something special go somewhere else. Their meat department is lacking especially with no service counter. Small selection of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Did not let me use the store card. As a traveler this was very disheartening. Food lions in the past have let me use the store card while traveling.

Very clean store, wonderful and kind associates! I love going in there to get stuff I need. Always stocked on items and easy quick in and out

Produce is always fresh I love shopping here instead of the Super Walmart down the road. Always clean and shelves are always stocked.
