Food Lion

Just recently switched to this food lion! We really like this one compared to our old one. Always clean with lots of cashiers working! Parking lot can be pretty busy! Today was the first time they were out of a lot of products. If you need fries, tater tots, pizza, and Cheez-Its I would wait a few days! It was pretty empty.

This is a very nice Food Lion. I am always impressed with how neat and clean it is. They always seem to be well stocked and the produce is fresh and beautiful. Shelves are consistently full of product and prices clearly marked. Employees are always friendly, efficient and helpful. They are knowledgeable and always able to answer my questions. On my last visit I commented about the cleanliness to the clerk at checkout. She smiled broadly and said, "We try hard." They obviously take pride in their store and seem to genuinely enjoy what they are doing.The large parking lot shared with the other tenants of Gainsborough Square shopping center is in good repair and always free of debris. It's rare to find a stray shopping cart out of place. The size of the lot is more than adequate for the businesses calling Gainsborough Square home. Speaking of shopping carts, I truly appreciate the quality of carts at this Food Lion. I don't think I've ever had a bad cart here. They all seem to roll evenly and easily as you navigate your way through the store's spacious aisles. Carts are always available, I've never entered the store to find the cart area empty. Overall, this is one of the better Food Lion locations. It's neat, clean and organized and always seems to have what I'm looking for.

Great food lion. Bright, clean and always neat and well stocked. Employees are very helpful and greet customers vice waiting until a customer needs something. I notice that they seem to be continuously straightening stock and it makes a difference.

I go to this Food Lion often but was taken aback by how rude the lady in the deli was today. Her tone of voice conveyed an attitude that was unwelcoming and I could really do without her rolling her eyes. It's unfortunate since all the other staff always is great.

This Food Lion was pretty cool. The parking lot had some mysterious slippery substance when I was going in side. But inside was pretty neat and clean. The staff were friendly and greeted me as I walked past. There were only 2 cashier lanes open but someone came along and opened another line so I was in and out! Everything was easy to find. It was a pleasant shopping experience.

The lady working as the deli associate was incredibly rude. Her words verbatim were "Y'all people just come up here and ask for shit and you have no idea what you want." I literally approached and asked for 4 pounds of FL roast beef. Maybe I'm in the wrong with however I asked but goodness gracious talk about terrible customer service.

Had good produce. Nice and clean. Clean parking lot. Helpful employees.

This is my neighborhood grocery store and I found out few weeks away that they was starting to remodel their whole store. Now that it's finished It's a lot more user friendly, found myself spending less time in the grocery store. I've also notice that now they are selling hot plates. Fried chicken, wings believe I even saw an ad for cooked shrimp. Haven't tried their hot plates YET but when I found out farm fresh was no longer in service I was thinking where will I get my hot plates from.Now food lion is trying something new and I will try their hot food as well. Love going to this store staff is always friendly and very helpful more importantly store is always clean I walk out happy and they have everything on my list plus more ! Also staff told me that they brought in over a thousand new products to carry in their store.

Awful store! The deli is either closed or out of apple pies and roast beef.a the worst store I have ever shopped in 50 years of shopping. The administration doesn't care I guess!

Very limited selection of organic foods. Prices are higher then other grocery stores.
