Food Dudes Kitchen

Food Dudes is a MUST visit every OBX visit! Tried the nachos for the first time with pork and OMG they were quite literally the best I've ever had! Stop now and go get them!!!! Service was great too and just know there is enough seating for about 30 people inside so go early or take out during busy times!

Tiny little place with pretty good food. Danielle and I stopped in for lunch last Monday (i think) while on vacation. I don't recall what Danielle had but I had the mahi mahi blackened tacos and they were delicious. i'd gladly go back if i find myself in the area again. check it out if you are.

TLDR - delicious quesadillas and wraps if you can handle a little spice Food - we ordered the Jerk Chicken Wrap and Shrimp Quesadillas. Both were delicious! The wrap was a bit spicier than we expected. Great for lunch but would probably need to order more food if you're very hungry. The shrimp quesadillas were excellent and a bit and more filling. The rice and beans were a throwaway but they kept my 8 month old entertained. Vibes - very casual, many folks came straight from the beach. Small eating space but the service is efficient. NO AC! We were hot but the menus were great for fanning. Food came quick so we were in and out.

This was a hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall. I don't think I would have noticed it from the street but Yelp helped me find this one. The food was stellar and the service was amazing. It's a small place but they are quick and friendly service. The food was very good and the drink and beers were tasty.

We were welcomed into this small, local , crowded place with several tables, some with wooden benches and a small bar. The ambiance was bustling and a bit noisy which was fine for us. The menu has lots of options such as fish sandwiches, tacos, bbq and salads.All of our hot sandwiches were freshly prepared, well seasoned, tender and perfectly cooked. The blackened fish and BBQ pork sandwiches were juicy and satisfying. In addition, they had a nice selection of local and craft beers.We wouldn't think twice about returning here on our next visit to the Outer Banks.

What a great local spot. Yeah I was a tourist visiting OBX, but this place was nestled in a small plaza within walking distance of my airbnb and the beach. We sat at the bar and ordered our food and it came quick. I had the best meal of my trip at Food Dudes. The fried mahi wrap! oh man, this thing was tasty. The wait staff was friendly and hardworking slinging drinks and taking orders. Food came out fast and the kitchen put out some great food. I also tasted the mac and cheese which came out piping hot and was very rich and thick. Great! I'd totally come back to Food Dudes. I just wish they had more tables, because I think we got lucky being seated quick.

Decent food and good portions in a very casual setting. As a table, we ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with avocado salsa, the black bean burger, and the veggie quesadillas. The avocado salsa was too salty but the quesadillas were a hit. The waffle fries were worth the extra charge. The seating area is limited so you may have a wait depending on the time of day.

Very mid establishment. Went here because it was on a few travel lists. The food was good but very much not worth the price. The total came out to $20 without drink even in the winter time in outer banks. I understand inflation and keeping shop open but this was restaurant level prices for average to mid food. No hate on the staff they were nice but hole in the wall place better stop pricing people out just because they're on a few travel lists! Good to try but honestly wouldn't recommend if you're on a budget.

The food is delicious, well-seasoned and not overly salty which I appreciate. Plenty of healthy menu options, generous portions and friendly staff. Short wait for food in the small but hip dining area, and takeout is available. They have a great selection of wine and beer. Will definitely return when in the area again.
