Food-A-Rama

Convenient, well stocked and well priced! I was in Manteo for a holiday from the Northeast and Food-A-Rama was my favorite place!

Great selection, low prices, friendly service, and best of all--all workers are wearing masks.

Prices on fresh produce higher than over the bridge, but best fried chicken anywhere, excellent prices on meats and deli, very fresh, and the sweetest check out folks. Love this local grocery!

Fresh produce, great service and affordable! Locally made Pimento Cheese Spread is incredible!Usually no lines. Can't beat their meat! Convenient location with plenty of parking. Staff is helpful and professional!I highly recommend Foodarama grocery store in Manteo.

This is a large grocery store. The store staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a decent selection of products here.

We stayed at our in-law's place in Manteo this past summer for a few days and needed to get a couple things from a grocery store. Normally, I prefer Harris Teeter or Food Lion, however I really didn't feel like crossing the sound and driving up the beach to get there so I hit this local grocery out. It's not bad. It's a little "tighter" in terms of space, but they had adequate selections of the brands i'm used to. Overall, I'm sure i'll shop here again based on convenience.

Best fresh produce in the outer banks! Always fully stocked. Great fried chicken too.

as usual dirty floors, expired produce, deli staff dirty, elderly person dropped her bag, manager walked right by her not helping. what is with this store?

Don't go to the deli if you are in a hurry! Or if you are particular about what you want. I left home early to stop by the deli on my way to work. No one else was waiting. I asked for 1 lb each of the ham, turkey and cheese they had on sale. It took 20 minutes because the guy waited on other people who came later; I guess because they only wanted one item. Everything was very sloppily cut. He did not clean the machine between items, just laid wax paper over the mess. He gave me ham that cost twice as much as the ham I asked for. I agreed to take it because I didn't have time for him to cut more at the speed he was going. If Piggly Wiggly had a deli, I would never have stepped inside Food a Rama. I will make other plans from now on. It just isn't worth the aggravation.
