Finishing Touch Events & Catering

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any contractor and it was on the most important day ( My only daughter's wedding ) We hired the owner to provide the catering, wedding planning, decorating and Day Of ceremony coordinating a year in advance. She was unresponsive to emails and calls, missed appointments and did not follow through with anything promised. None of the food was as presented or described and was extremely disappointing. She showed up 2 and 1/2 hours late on the day of the wedding without even a phone call, and our calls went right to voicemail that was full. The entire day was rushed because of her tardiness and unpreparedness. The wedding party that should have been inside with hair and make up were outside decorating because we did not know whether or not she was even going to be there.The bartenders were not set up or prepared because they had to help cook, wedding guests were helping themselves prior to the wedding as the bar was unattended. The timeline of events was all off including the bridal party entrance to music selected. Our "Wedding Coordinator" was no where to be found during the cake cutting, toasts, first dance, or fireworks send off as she had essentially "checked out immediately after the ceremony. She was supposed to come back the next day to assist in taking down the lights and decorations that were put up but the groom and family had to do that as well as she showed up by herself with no help after the time we were already supposed to have vacated the venue. Of course she had required that we pay her in full prior to the event and we are now sorry that we ever hired this business.
