Fine Creek Brewing Company

This quaint little brewery in the middle of Powhatan sets on a beautiful creek in serene peacefulness. What a nice way to spend the afternoon on a pleasant day. They were out of a couple things, but we all ended up with something we enjoyed.

This was a weird one for me. The brewery is located behind several rental cabins. The venue is really nice, but that's where my positive experience ended. This is the first brewery I've been to where they don't provide samples. I decided on the Brett Saison because the woman helping me said it was like a Blue Moon. This tasted nothing like a Blue Moon and if I had been able to sample it, I would have opted for something else. I wanted to get a bite to eat and decided on the turkey melt sandwich. While it was tasty, for $14, I was expecting something to accompany the sandwich. Not only do you have to pick up your food, but you also have to buss your own table. This is not a place I would revisit.

We attended the "Wild and Weird" event today and WHY did it take us four years since arriving to Midlothian to visit this beautiful place? From the moment of arriving to the property and feeling you have just checked out. The beer was mesmerizing from Fine Creek selections, to tasting of local and other breweries that stirred flavors I've never encountered before. The food was perfection. The standouts to me were the crew, from one of the owners, Mark, to the brewmasters to the service crew. The genuine interest they take and care for of the people visiting will not be forgotten. If you haven't been, please go!

Was DoorDashing out West of town the other day and decided to take a long break in the Sunshine. I'd been to Fine Creek before and thoroughly enjoyed my experiences there.This time was no exception: Daniel and Dixon, in particular, were very accommodating and friendly, and the House Saison and one of the I.P.A.'s were delicious, as usual.I've eaten there in the past and definitely recommend it, too.

My friends and I decided to come here for happy hour/early dinner :)I heard the food and beer was amazing so ofcourse I'm all in. For beers I tried two 4oz ones. The coffee based one is the one I really loved (I ended up getting a crowler to take home!). For food we got a variety of items.My sister in laws got the kids grilled cheese for her kid and they both said it was really good. I got the garlic parmesan wings and the zuppa toscana. The wings are the best wings I've had in a very long time the soup was good too but I wish there was a tad more seasoning. My friend got us a cheese board too that had a variety of meats/cheese, nuts etc. Overall we loved the ambiance of the place, the food and the beer! Would love to come back and try other food items/beers when we are back in the area.

100% something you have to try out if you are up near Powhatan. On site they have cottages to stay if you are having a wedding, and they have a small store with yummy pastries and some small business knick knacks. I did not expect such fresh and tasty food from a brewery. I was more than impressed. The menu changes every month so be sure to try it out at least once! (Hopefully more than once)

Excellent beers, delicious food and nice atmosphere. Bartender gave good recommendations and service was quick.

We had the BEST time at Fine Creek! We've loved the brewery for a while now and decided to rent the outside area for a coed baby shower with our Richmond friends. Daniel was who we worked with and he made everything about the booking and day of the event so stress free and perfect! Most of our friends had not been to the brewery before our party and they all just loved it. Everyone said they'd be back and a few are thinking about renting it out as well!Also, we ordered a cake from the bakery on site and it went above and beyond expectations and was delicious! Pierre did an amazing job!Our event aside, Fine Creek is an awesome brewery with such great beer and wine and something for everyone. And just the most beautiful outdoor area! You have to go!

Great craft beer, excellent ambiance, service is wonderful and the prices good. Great location for get together.

Very rude bartender. Wouldn't allow any tastings. First brewery I have ever experienced this. When asked why that it is. The answer give was, "our bartenders are perfect at describing the beer aromas." Told her that she doesn't know my taste palette. "Well you asked the question," she was informed that she lost a customer. Don't recommend this place. The West Coast was bottom barrel, flat, wrong type of glass poured.
