Fathom Coffee

Saw great reviews about this spot and it did not disappoint! I got a drip coffee and I love how distinct and simple my coffee tasted. started my day on a good note!would highly recommend this spot for some good coffee, and cute photo shots.

The exterior sign was down during my visit, but I came in through the back:) The outside could use some refreshing, BUT the murals adorning the building's walls are incredible! Def worth a visit!

Love a great cold brew, and fathom coffee did not disappoint!! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the aroma of coffee!! And a friendly greeting! When I asked them to let me look at the menu it my first time visiting , they informed me of the process of the coffee and the story of the beans they have. I told the ladies I love a nice strong cold brew coffee with caramel! man was that a great nitro coffee so smooth and tasty!! Don't worry I will be back! I'm trying all the local coffee shops!

A fun local spot to hit up when exploring the ViBE creative area! Peruse the menu and order a drink because these specialty lattes are coffee-forward! If you need a sweeter drink, go for a white chocolate drink of sorts. If you love the taste of the coffee bean, a cortado and traditional macchiato are made perfectly. Trust: as a barista, no judgment if you like sweeter coffee! The staff was approachable and ready for questions as I like to try out their special latte of the month. At the time, it was a white chocolate blueberry latte. Make it iced and enjoy the murals and other stores and eateries of the district. It's not a place to post up with a laptop or be productive, but it's a cute spot to hit with some friends, solo, or with a date because there's plenty of things to do and see in the area.

Liked this place, not a latte place. Great selection of coffee beans for pour overs and drip coffee. Cute little shop, no where to sit and stay. Baristas were nice enough, not much to write home about.

Love this place coffee was so tasty! Service was also friendly and accommodating. Cute outdoor seating space.

Long overdue review. Came across Fathom thanks to the Summer Coastal Coffee Trail. Baristas were friendly, the iced matcha was nice and strong, and the outside seating area of Fathom is wonderful and vibrant. They did not upcharge me for substituting my milk, which is very rare these days. So thanks, Fathom! Just wish I lived closer...

So sad that Fathom was less than desirable. I've heard rave reviews about Fathom and have had it on my "to-try" list for over 6 months. Finally made it over this weekend and I should have listened to my sense of smell when we walked in and both immediately looked at each other and stated that it smelled VERY weird in the establishment. My first thought was "OOPS, they terribly burnt that batch", but the stickers on the wall stating "never burnt" eased my mind LOL.Sadly, it was un-drinkably (is that a word?) burnt and a complete waste of $6. The only saving grace for the 2 stars rather than 1 was the delicious cold foam served atop.Since it most definitely could have been an off-day, I will probably try it again in the future, but for now, a bit turned off.

Yesterday we took an unexpected trip to Virginia Beach. Of course I had a lot of different things on my list to try, but I was in need of a caffeine hit. I want to say that I'm not in the business of hurting small business. With that being said, I do drink a lot of coffee, and think of myself as an expert in this field. I felt as though my coffee wasn't really espresso, and I did specifically order a latte. Other than that the chai lattes we ordered were so delicious, and an amazing price too. As far as the interior, it's pretty tiny in there, but it definitely gives off coffee by the beach vibes. There is a back patio that is shared with the restaurant next door, but other than that not a lot of places to sit. However it's spring, and it's weather to be taking a stroll with your coffee. So pick up your coffee and enjoy the beautiful Vibe District of VB.

Can't fathom ((see what I did there)) how we didn't know about this place before today! Came here today for the first time after finding out about this spot on the coastal coffee trail. Walking in, they've got a large list of coffee options. Unfortunately today, they were out of their nitro cold brew, so I got a pour over (Mexican coffee) - got it black and it was very good. My husband got the cortado and liked it also. We came on a day where it was 95 degrees outside, so ended up having to sit in the car to drink our coffee. Took off one star because the location is small and they do not have indoor seating and they seemed a little rushed. I do like that they have specialty options that benefit charities as part of their menu! Will be back when it's a little cooler out.
