Dipping ice cream into a paper cup shouldn't take an hour and a half. This place will ruin your day as you sit and wonder what in the world could be happening inside. They will take thirty or forty orders and then only call orders out every five or ten minutes. And I mean an order with one scoop of ice cream in a cup takes 10 minutes. And it's not worth the wait. After an hour and a half, they told me they didn't have one of the ingredients, but thanks for the money. And whatever is going on, it's not a Covid glitch or a we can't find workers in Obx problem. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!

The homemade waffle cones are soooo good. The line was long and you have to wait a few minutes, but it was worth it. No inside seating, but there is outside seating.

"Ice cream, sodas, and more in Nags Head"Pretty close to the exit to the bridge to go to Manteo but on the Virginia Dare Trail lies this open-air ice cream store. It's walk-up to order, and there's a large covered bench-seating area off to the side. They have a range of flavored drinks (some carbonated, some not), ice cream, and more. One popular item seemed to be ice cream in a taco-shaped cone, and we saw some people get those. A few people got banana splits or sundaes too.My experience deviates strongly from all the negative reviews here-- we came on a Tuesday afternoon. There was a long line of people, but the folks inside were working diligently to get the LARGE orders everyone was making prepared. Service was extremely friendly-- got a genuine smile and "how has your day been so far?" from the friendly cashier as she rung us up. We ordered a pineapple milkshake, a mango sorbet, and a small cup of ice cream.Wait to get food was probably 10 minutes after we placed the order, but they were steadily giving ice cream to the earlier large groups, so it was fair. We finally got ours, and we were happy. The milkshake was a little runny (opposite of what you might get from "CookOut") but very tasty and with chunks of pineapple. The sorbet was sweet and perfect. And the ice cream was also really good.As with most things in Nags Head, it's not as cheap as it seems like it could be, but for $13 (including small tip) for all three of us, it was a reasonably priced, good quality treat. I'd definitely return.

The ice cream was phenomenal and my waffle cone was delicious. The service was okay, they didn't yell out the numbers of the orders very loud so some people were waiting for their ice cream without knowing. The music was too loud so it make hearing your order next to impossible. Additionally, the bubble machine was annoying. Overall, I would come back to get ice cream and eat it in my vehicle.

Normally, when you notice a store breaking child label law, you expect 5 star taste quality. However, it's just Blue bell ice cream being served by kids, with ice cream on their face, hands, and clothes.Handing people ice cream cones without a glove or wrapper on cone. Just bare hands touching your food.

Ice cream was mid. Hours on the sign say close at 10 but when I went to order for my parents who stayed back at the house at 9:25 they said they were no longer taking orders.

The homemade ice cream had no flavor!! It was like frozen cake batter...& sugar! NO FLAVOR!

The ice cream is always great! I usually get the PB Jammer Flurry. It is very good and you get a very big portion! The kids are always so sweet that work there and are very profressional. The atmosphere is not the best but I just go sit in my car and enjoy my ice cream. Or drive over to Jeannette's and enjoy the beautiful beach view.

Ice cream is sub par and overpriced. Lines are ridiculous. Some weird stuff going on above the place in the apartment. Lots of screaming and yelling from the people in the apartment above. Cops came. Ambulance took one of the people away. Would not recommend.

Awful service takes forever and workers getting mad at customers. They take couldn't even make an ice cream cone they forgot after 20 min and already waited 30 to order and prices are way to high and parking is non existent.
