Farmdog Beach Services

Farmdog delivers again. We reserved with them the week of July 4th. They were very responsive with my inquiries regarding confirmation and my request to have the tent be closer to the ocean (within reason). We were traveling with 3 toddlers so wanted it closer have an easier eye on them. Farmdog was very accommodating. The set up was as expected and the communication with Farmdog was stellar. The weather was sketchy on Monday and Farmdog kept us in the loop regarding setup. I would hands down recommend Farmdog.

These guys were amazing. We did cabana beach set up for a week, they were always on time, always grabbed us a nice spot on the beach, and were extremely friendly and easy to work with. Definitely recommend.

The folks at Farmdog surf school are amazing. I had the privilege of spending a week with them through First Descents which a cancer survivorship program earlier this spring. I wasn't sure what to expect and was nervous about wether or not I would be strong or brave enough to get up on a board. These people not only supported us physically by bringing us out into the water and giving us the push we needed, mentally by walking us through every step of what we should expect and also emotionally holding our hands through the whole transformational process. As a 40 year old mom of 2 I wasn't sure my teenage dream of surfing would ever come true. I'm so glad I took the chance and that my new Farmdog family were there to support me. I'll be bringing my whole family with me next time for sure. This is a real mom and pop family operation with a beautiful shop, very affordable prices and a whole lot of heart. If your considering lessons, looking for a place to rent equipment or just looking for a cool hat and some non toxic sunblock.... this is your place. And tell them Tagger said

We came to OBX for a "almost fall" early October vacation to enjoy the last days of summer. When we arrived, we discovered that our rental company had not taken care of beach chairs or umbrellas, as they said they would. We reached out to Farmdog, and they were awesome. They responded right away, and communications was excellent. They also went out of the way to make sure we got the most of every day, even providing us with a cabana on the first day even though we hadn't yet gotten everything worked out - and before they even had our credit card info. Thanks, guys!Service was also excellent. Every day was set up well, and everything was secure and in good shape. They always beat us to the beach every morning - even with two kids who woke up ready to hit the sand!Thank you, Farmdog. You were a really bright spot on our trip.

I love this service! 2nd year in a row I've used them and they are polite, friendly and awesome.

We have used Farm Dog beach rentals for the last few years and their service is top notch. Your tents and chairs are put out early enough for you to be able to enjoy early morning on the beach and we were even given a refund for a rained out beach day! We will continue to rent from Farm Dog every year!

Always set up on time and made the beach trip very enjoyable. Reasonable cost and quality chairs.

Two Parts to this review:1) The Concept. Getting up and walking down to the sand and finding your canopy and chairs are already in place, and going back to the house whenever you want because takedown is somebody else's issue. A perfect 5! Incredibly relaxing and totally effortless! This is a no brainer.2) This Business: Farm Dog Beach Service was as close to perfect as you'd expect. Easy online booking, chairs out every morning before we got there and taken away sometime after we left. A good heavy canopy with anchors so the wind wasn't an issue. All items are in great condition. Totally effortless from booking to enjoyment. A perfect 5!
