This place is amazing 1st time here wow rib eye steak was perfect. Long Island amazing. The lady serving us Unfortunately. Thank you guys for a great night. We will be back o best music playing Love it.

Friendly staff members, food was adequate, and atmosphere was welcoming. Was only one of a few people there on a Tuesday night, but January is a slow month everywhere. Excited to see what Trivia night in Tuesday's has in store!

We had an awesome dinner! I had the broiled captains platter. My husband got the steak and our son had the ribs. We also had the scallop bites as an appetizer. The entire meal was amazing!! A little on the pricey side but worth every penny. We will definitely be going back again.

Though it's not clear from this restaurant's online presence in fact it is a bar and grill located in the clubhouse of a golf course. So adjust your expectations accordingly. I struggled with a final rating for our experience there because one dish we ordered was quite good, and one dish was very bad. The lower rating stems from how they handled the bad dish. I ordered the scallop basket. My wife ordered the loaded nachos. Both came out in a reasonable amount of time. And my scallops and breaded french fries were hot and flavorful. My wife's nachos however was another story. It is no exaggeration to say that it looked like they dumped a half a bag of store-bought nachos onto a plate, dumped a jar of Cheez Whiz on it, sprinkled some lettuce and half of a chopped onion on it and called that at $10 dish. There is no meat, no salsa, no sour cream. Nothing. Just chips and fake cheese and lettuce and a truckload of onions. It was literally the most unappetizing nachos I've ever seen. ( I wish I'd taken a picture.) My wife told the waitress that was not what she expected and wanted to order something else. She ended up ordering a hamburger. I was completely finished with my meal, and her replacement Burger still had not come out. We told them to just cancel the hamburger but they insisted it was ready and they were just about to bring it out. We told them we were ready to leave so they offered to wrap it up for us. We grudgingly agreed so they brought it out... and then gave us the check for the full amount of both meals. No apology, no regrets. We hadn't even wanted the hamburger. They talked us into taking it because it was already prepared. So I was shocked when they charged us the full amount for a dish we really didn't want. The lesson learned is when you want to go out to eat, go to a restaurant - not a golf course.

Not in business. Food was ok. Service was ok. Atmosphere was good. The new restaurant is great! Prince street Cafe!! Go to it!

Horrible experience. We were served a rotten piece of sirloin and expired tuna bites that were not cooked to order. On the other hand the staff was friendly and the environment was clean.

I've lived in Tappahannock for years and didn't know about this gem! We will definitely be returning! Great staff, our waitress was very friendly and on point and it's in town yet away from the hectic hustle tucked away at the golf course! We had the grilled captains platter and bacon wrapped scallops and the pricing was as satisfying as our dinner

Delicious bbq, great portions & reasonably priced! Located on a beautiful golf course.
