Overall, this hotel is a great location to stay and the staff at the front desk were very kind to me and my family. Unfortunately, I failed to take photos of the room, but they were nice. I am unsure if the location was recently built or if it was recently renovated, but in either case I think they are nice rooms for the price. The breakfast is nothing out of the ordinary consisting of eggs, sausage, yogurt, bagels, and a waffle maker. There was some construction going on in the parking lot, but that has minimal effect on car parking. It could cause a bit of trouble if you are pulling a trailer, so keep that in mind.

Run. Don't look back. Don't bother reading this review. Stay somewhere else. I don't write reviews like this lightly, but If you really must find out why I say this read on...It's rare but the Yelp reviews do not accurately represent this hotel. Maybe it's lack of yelpers during the pandemic and people haven't reviewed much. This is my first trip since the pandemic and I was sorely disappointed. Number one reason why you shouldn't stay here. BED BUGS. As I said, I haven't left my house in over a year and a half. But in this case from going to Richmond, I come home and within a day I see bites in a "breakfast, lunch, and dinner" pattern on my leg and hand. They are crazy itchy and I'm having a pretty severe reaction to it that may need medical attention. I know my bites and these are not mosquito, spider, or any other bites. These are bed bugs. When I leave my house for walks or hikes, I Deet up. So I know it when I see it. I drove there in my car so there is no chance of me getting exposed to bed bugs anywhere else. Why would I even say this? Well, this place is filthy. I can't believe I paid so much for something that isn't as clean as a motel. I got a double queen room because it's what they had and when I arrived (late from a wedding) and inspected the beds I had to make a decision about which bed was less dirty to sleep in. I chose the one without dirt, hair, and what looked like suspicious spots on... I felt like someone actually already slept in that bed and no one changed the sheets they just re tucked everything back... I checked the mattress I was on and it seemed okay. But I missed the headboard. when I went to shower the bathroom was disgusting. There was a leak under the main pipe and it's exposed so why the heck the cleaning crew or Maintenance didn't see this boggles my mind. There was mold, stains, and hair (not mine) everywhere. When I tried to shower the drains as so clogged I had to do a military shower. For a "new" hotel it had a musty old smell. The worst part was my room was connected to another room. This is normal for folks for rent two rooms so families could stay together. What was not normal was I had to lock my side myself.. meaning the people next to me (there were people) definitely had access to my roomBefore I got there late in the evening. A total security and gross flaw. Why no one checked that boggles my mind. In the bedroom itself there was dirt, dust, and you guessed it, hair everywhere. How could I tell it wasn't mine? I have long black hair. None of it was long black hair. I know,'... gross. The "breakfast" was dismal. They definitely used the pandemic as an excuse. They left out basically pre packaged Twinkie like things, boxed cereal, and mini frozen breakfast sandwiches for you to microwave. The walls were thin and I could hear a lot. Luckily the folks next door stopped watching TV around 11 pm and I could sleep. But the other guests were pretty inconsiderate and there was a clear distinction between the trump supporters who were not wearing masks and stared me down like I had illegally entered Richmond and the hotel....Maybe that and the proximity to the airport allowed them to charge almost $200 a night. No thanks. Stay somewhere else please. Finally, if you are desperate or unlucky and had to stay here leave your luggage on the rack or the table. That was the only good thing. They have space you can put your luggage away from the bed. Put your clothes in plastic bags. Showered immediately when you get home. If you can't burn your belongings, wash in hot water and dry for as long as possible. Since it's summer, you can also leave your luggage in your hot car in the hopes of will try to kill any potential bed hug hitchhikers.

Checked in late at night after a flight to find out they had accidentally cancelled our reservation. Fortunately it took them only a few seconds to remedy the situation and get us settled. We were only there for less than 12 hours but our stay was great. Rooms were modern and clean. One of those times where I wish we actually had a little more time to relax in the nice clean and spacious room. We had a nice breakfast in the morning that was included with our stay. Would definitely stay here again when flying out of Richmond International Airport again. Proximity to airport is great.

I rarely give out 5 stars for a hotel but this definitely deserves it. Maybe because it's fairly new and everything is really nice. From the lobby , the gym , the pool and the rooms. Very spacious and very nice TVs in the room and lobby area. I'm highly impressed being that I've had bad experiences in the past with Fairfield Inn. Also great location with convenience of the airport and stores and restaurants nearby. Last but not least the staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating.

In the first room, the bed was soaking wet. We complained, and they gave us a new room, but never said they were sorry. The breakfast ends way too early especially on a holiday weekend. Overall not a place I'd stay again.

Pick this place on our way back from Charleston heading back home to grow New Jersey. The hotel is six weeks old based on what the people behind a desk told us, and it is the first time I have been in a hotel where it smells like a new car. Really nice place and the TVs are you Mongas. We got a suite with a master bed for me and the Mrs., which has a separate the living room area and another big giant TV, so two TVs in total in one room. The girls got their own room with one big giant TV.Of course the place is immaculate since it looks brand new and they tell us that it comes with breakfast included with the room in the morning. I have no idea what I paid because I'm too tired to ask and really don't care but it's got a modern look to it and kind of like an art deco feel. Really nice place give it a try good luckPS the girls behind the desk were very very friendly and a lot of fun and on our next visit down to wherever we wind up, we will definitely stay here again.

This place is new and clean and everything has a nice flow, with the gym and pool all being within short walking distance of the main lobby. I liked that they had a computer and printer space as well. The beds were comfortable enough and the free WiFi wasn't bad. The breakfast was good, lots of selection, better than most. The staff took their jobs seriously. Overall a nice experience!

Jennifer at the front desk was fantastic, able to accommodate my unique needs with joy and genuine care. June and other staff members were kind, friendly, and courteous. Hot coffee and breakfast including protein options, which are rare in my experience.

Low price and you get what you pay for. Rooms are poorly furnished, thrift store quality furniture. Lighting is horrible, don't plan to read in the room.

We arrived after driving 14 hours (driving home from rhode island, we still have one more day of driving after tonight). we arrived around 11:20pm. When we walk into the room, the Ac is so loud you could never sleep. It literally sounded like the parts were exploding. When i first walked in i took off my shoes and the carpet was so sticky. it was disgusting. Then, i check the sheets and there is a stain of what literally looks like boogers. We wanted another room because we were upset with what we were given after a 14 hour car ride. We asked for another room and they said they had only 4 more rooms left in the ENTIRE hotel and they were all on the TOP floor. ridiculous.
