Embassy Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort

LOVVVEEEE this hotel!!!! Clean, contemporary, an ode to Jazz with Prints, Paintings and 3D art of Jazz artifacts and greats throughout the hotel. Great staff, swift, professional, congenial and knowledgeable of the surrounding areas. Only drawbacks were the low shower pressure and no rubber bathtub mat. Shower/tub's VERY slippery. Major safety hazard. Although great Temperature (hot & cold), the fan power for AC was basically non-existent. The room DID cool down, in a more Central Air way. We wanted both fan power and coolness. LOVE that ALL rooms have microwaves and refrigerators!!!!! Room's spacious, clean. We overlooked the pool area with views of the beach. (Rm. 385) Perfect location, yet exclusive and sophisticated within a reasonable budget (appx. $200 per night for this stay.) Our family will DEFINITELY return!

Nice hotel on the beach. You have access to the entire resort and can buy ice cream at the cool ice cream place at the Marriott next door and put it on your Embassy Suites room charge and earn Hilton Honors points. Bed is somewhat comfy, but not as comfy as at some other Hilton hotels. Also there was live music until 10 PM audible in the room from outside. If you have small kids who go to bed early, take note. But you have a gorgeous view, even the non-Ocean view rooms can see the ocean from the balcony a bit. Breakfast was outstanding, but doesn't open until 7:30 which is a bit late for me as I like getting up early. And it's fun to see the sun rise over the ocean then go downstairs for breakfast, but you can only do that like two days a year. Fortunately I was there for one of them. It's nice.

This is a beautiful hotel. The location is steps from the beach and within the renowned, recently renovated Cavalier resort complex. If you look to your left upon exiting the Embassy Suites, you'll see "Cavalier" beautifully etched in the fancy, landscaped grassy hill. And if you look to your right, you'll see the beautiful beachfront.Rooms are large and clean. My room had a partial beach view (see in photos) and a very large balcony. Special shout out to Chris at the front desk who was very helpful and seemingly always working lol and also to Toni at breakfast service! I will absolutely be recommending this hotel to friends and would be thrilled to stay again.

From the time we arrived, Chris treated us with fantastic service at the front desk. We arrived before noon, so our room was not ready, so we went to the Deck Bar & Grill to grab a bite to eat. Ms. JoAnne at the pool deck was so sweet and funny. The food at the Deck Bar & Grill was delicious. Chris contacted us within an hour to inform us that our room was ready and ensured that our trip was off to a wonderful start and we had everything we needed. Our room (Oceanfront King Suite) was everything we hoped for and more. It was spacious and clean. The view was terrific--a clear view of the ocean and pool below. The breakfast buffet with the made-to-order omelets was delicious. Please tip the omelet cooks - it's hot in that kitchen, and it doesn't hurt to be kind and patient - which I noticed some customers were rude. We spent a day poolside enjoying Ms. JoAnne, who treats you like family and does a great job ensuring all the kiddos have what they need. Overall, this was a fantastic trip; you can't go wrong staying at the Embassy. They have everything you need and more. You can also access amenities at the co-located hotels, restaurants, and entertainment.

Before I begin, let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's go!. I am sadly to announce that this will be my last review for 2023, but I will soon return in 2024 with fresh ideas on reviewing!. Ok, as most of you probably know by now.. Embassy Suites is my go to stay, whether I am in town, out of town, out of the state or country! Whenever available this is our first choice. My wife and I came here for some down time, relaxation or should I just say a complete reset to bring in the New Year fresh! We arrived yesterday 12/30/2023 and will be checking out 1/1/2024!. Everything is just like it always have been for us while staying here. Nothing but relaxation, food and drinks to indulge in. The service has been outstanding, from the service at the restaurant to the front desk checking on us the first night we arrived asking us how our stay is and if we needed anything. We told them we are fine and we appreciate the nice gesture. The only thing I would change at this particular location is them providing a detached shower head in the bathroom, but other than that, it has been splendid so far. I will make changes to my review if necessary but if not..I would like to wish everyone on Yelp a Happy New Year's Eve and I will SYOY in 2024. Be safe out there and enjoy and please look out for one another!.

One of the best beach experiences we have had on the east coast. Part of the Cavalier Resort yet within the Hilton Portfolio. This gives Hilton Honors members the opportunity to stay within the Cavalier Resort family at the north end of the Oceanfront.The amenities include free breakfast which include made to order omelets. It is busy so it's encouraged to go early. There is a reception from 4:30pm-6pm two free drinks per an adult x2 free sodas and juice for kids. Light snacks were offered including humus, chips, crackers, vegetable and cheese tray. On the busier days they replenish the snacks as needed.Parking costs 20$ and there is a resort fee. This fee covers beach chairs, bikes during the off season, and metal detector rentals. There is a towel service at the pool that is controlled through cards. Apparently, the cards cost 20$ if you loose them.The gym is new with 3 peloton bikes, new precor treadmills and elliptical machines. New weights and a cable machine and bench.The staff is friendly. There was an issue with residue on the plates after washing which was resolved in two days. Things to get that fifth star:-The electric outlets in the garage were locked. It would be great to mark these for EVs that need charging. The Cavalier has open outlets but it cost more money to valet park there.-Water stations are offered at the HGI a few blocks away. Beach hotels should all have them.

Beautiful and clean location with lots to do for the whole family with events throughout the week. We especially enjoyed the daily happy hour for guests with drink and light food options. Other activities we took part in was sunrise yoga, and a cocktail session on mixing summer drinks. The paint and sip session was full by the time we could sign up! The sister properties have some activities, but have more availability on weekend - we were on a mid-week vacation. We left the property once during our five day stay, and that was to get some pizza down the boardwalk. We specifically chose this location because of Hilton's confirmed connecting rooms. Due to the arrangement of rooms, two interior connecting oceanfront rooms were not available. We did enjoy a King bed with oceanfront, and two queen with ocean view room.Loved that we could get two beach chairs each day and not carry anything around. The daily breakfast was good. Get your custom omelette order in first, then check out the other offerings. The layout of the dining area presents some bottlenecks during the busier eating times.If there was anything I could change it would be more hooks or a laundry line in the bathrooms for drying swim suits.

Decided to stay here for spring break with the family and puppy and this was the best hotel experience we've had in a long time! From the front desk greetings to the hotel suite... the food inside of the hotel... amenities... location... everything was great and worth the price. Our room was clean and housekeeping was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was included in the hotel rate. Breakfast wasn't your average continental setup. They had everything! Even a waffle station and cooks making made to order omelets. There was also a reception hour hosted by the hotel daily which included light bites and 2 free cocktails! Gym, indoor/outdoor pool. Plenty of areas to lounge. Daily activities for the kids. Access to the Marriott across the street. It was just what we needed. We will be making this our new Virginia Beach hotel.

Honest review from an embassy lover. This hotel is nice but missed the mark on a lot...The popular made to order embassy breakfast has room for improvement. Plates were dirty, I couldn't find the forks, the coffee and milk was out in 2/3 stations, there was a big wait, and it was really loud. This doesn't make sense because the staff is running around and obviously working hard. Something isn't right. The room is beautiful!! But the view from the balcony is half beach and half trash/dumpsters.It's a resort with the Marriott and cavalier hotels, but we can't use the other hotel pools. The embassy does not have a hot tub, which would be fine except that the hotel is so tall that it shades the pool most of the day making it cold. There is a taco restaurant at the pool, where my group got food poisoning from the night before traveling home. And we also got our stuff stolen. The manager took this seriously. She reviewed the cameras and did her best remedy the situation after. The hotel is in a great location and will be better once it gets past these growing pains!

We had a great time staying 1 night at this hotel. Beautiful location and the oceanfront was gorgeous that night. I would definitely return in the future! I missed out on the breakfast buffet but the happy hour was good and we also had some food at the bar. Very tasty!!!! The water was majestic that night! So I decided to sang a little Disney tune in my video! lol!!!!!! I'll be back Embassy!!!!
