Elements 1010 is the most upscale of the Kingsmill Resort's restaurants and also its finest. With warm, fresh baked complimentary bread served with homemade herb butter to seared sea bass with delicious vegetable glaze on top, Elements delivers on every course of the meal, creating a phenomenal dining experience that overwhelmingly justifies the price.I've been to the Elements four times in my stays at the Kingsmill and each visit is exceedingly satisfying. With a bar staff who makes correctly mixed martinis that don't reek of incorrectly mixed gin and vermouth to the savory bread to entrees that deliver large portions and bold tastes, Elements is a fine option for all resort-goers looking for a quiet, classy and fulfilling meal. Elements cheese boards feature multiple cheeses, from bleu to gouda to havarti, in addition to fresh bread and pickled fruits and vegetables on the side, creating a perfect appetizer to share on a romantic date or with friends. Their salads can be combined with crab cakes, salmon, pork strips and other savory options, allowing for full customization between greens and other featured entree items. The wait staff are consummately professional with the head chef occasionally bringing out dishes to guarantee both quality and timeliness of delivery, ensuring customers will be satisfied with both service and taste. Kingsmill is a PGA tour stop and a 4-Star resort, so don't expect to be thrifty at Elements. With that said, the higher price goes a long way here, with generous portions, excellent service and great taste all being wrapped up into one memorable package.

The wait for dinner and drinks was awful. A lady with her fam next to us freaked out at the wait staff, threatened to leave and yelled that it was, "An unmitigated disaster". Never have I waited so long for a meal, but our group is a little calmer than that lady for sure. The porterhouse pork-chop was pretty bad too, tough and lacking flavor. The only great thing about this place was the breakfast buffet which was one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever been to. Great variety with just about everything you could think of for breakfast.

The hungrier you are, the better your experience at the buffet breakfast will be. The breakfast overs a large a variety of options including eggs, corn flakes, toast, omelette, pineapple, and more. Staff is very friendly, and it is very calming!

We ate here on a Friday night for a much awaited date night. The restaurant was empty except for two other tables, but that was fine for us. Our waiter was great. The view of the river is outstanding. The dinner rolls were just ok, but the butter was very tasty. We had the filet and pork chop. Both were surprisingly good, especially given some of the poor reviews. We would not hesitate to return. We utilized the kids night out - well worth the money to have some adult time!

The restaurant was inside the resort so, of course, everyone was welcoming! Very nice place for dinner! Food was pretty good!

Excellent happy hour!! We were surprised at how good the deals were! Normally a $3 glass of wine on happy hour is house wine which is not the greatest but they came out with a nice bottle! We showed up 2 minutes before happy hour was ending and they let us order 2 glasses of wine each which was very nice! They also brought us complimentary nuts! The view was perfect! Overlooking the James river! The server was nice enough as she really didn't have to pay attention to us after getting our drinks. She did a great job refilling our waters as well.. no one ever rushed us to get out either as we were only drinking wine and not ordering food some people may not like that but they didn't care. The ambiance is very classy! I would highly recommend coming here for happy hour with a good view! I know they have breakfast and dinner as well! From what I saw the food looked good!

Currently this business is only offering Breakfast Buffet only. No Dinner service. The breakfast is awesome lots of great options available and new surprises each day. Awesome orange juice and is worth trying definitely different compared to other orange juices from name brands. If you are staying at this resort go for the breakfast here.

We stayed at the kingsmill resort where this restaurant is located inside the main building. We decided to dine for nye and we were glad we did. Upon arriving they were running a little bit behind but we were able to sit at the bar even though we had our little with us with no problem. (Some places make a big deal having a toddler on your lap even for 5 min) shortly after we were seated at our table. They had everything already set and ready for us. Our waiter was excellent and attentive, which was refreshing since it was jam packed. Also the food was absolutely wonderful! Fresh, hot, and just right! I was shocked to see they made small accommodations even on such a busy night!

Just had a really nice dinner with my wife and kids. The staff were attentive and professional. The food was 4 star quality and on par with cost. Had scallops and my wife had salmon. The kids had a burger and chicken fingers. (Also had three starters that were killer). I had a little of everything and all was great. I was considering not trying the place as the overall Yelp rating was low. So glad I decided on giving it a shot! I'd say I'd be back but I'm only here for one night and live in California.

What can I say....terrible food - would have given 0 stars if possible. Had to send prime rib ( a special) back as served raw and tough. Chef Michael was drinking on the job. Saw him accept a full glass of red wine from patron. Manager Charlie excused his drinking as just a part of job?? Chef Michael had attitude & didn't care about our food. Plus restaurant on a Saturday night was empty.Do your self a favor & go elsewhere Absolutely horrible experience Ps- from dc& md so this restaurant was one that would fail in our areaRepeat run as fast as you can
