El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant

I live here in this town and really really want this Mexican restaurant to be amazing but it just isn't Now the beans are very goodRice is just not my favorite, bland and almost taste like it's out of a like pre seasoned box kit.Mexican rice is so easy to make so I don't really understand. Add some garlic onion powder tomato sauce do it up right. I got a chicken chimichanga and the chicken inside was literally just chopped up chicken. It had no flavoring whatsoever. It's my understanding. This restaurant has been here for a very long time so I don't know if I am just ordering the wrong food or what I will give it another shot. A lot of people seem to like the fajitas so maybe they have got the fajitas down!

I stopped in for lunch on a rainy Tuesday. The place is not jumping. There were three other people eating and by the time I left 2 more had come. They are in a little strip beside another restaurant.There is a whole page of lunch specials to order from. They ranged in price up to 9.95. My meal came with the 2 enchiladas rice and lettuce. I don't eat sour cream so I didn't get it. I also had a fountain soda. The tota was less then $10. The meal was pretty good. There was a lot of chicken, so I was full about half way through. The chicken was moist but a little bland. It could have used a little something more for flavor. There was sauce and cheese on top. Maybe I could have asked for a little more sauce. It was supposed to have Pico de Gallo but I guess when I said no sour cream they left that off. All in all not bad for a quick lunch. I was in and out real fast. The waitress doesn't seem to bring the bill to the table. I saw others get up when they were done and pay at the register near the bar. So I followed suit when I was done with my meal.

El Ranchero is a great little restaurant. The food is good and the service are always nice.

This is our Friday night hang out spot with family. There's always a good meal to be had at this location and the margaritas never disappoint.

We had a party of 6 adults and stopped here just because we were in the area and saw it had good reviews. We were not disappointed! It's a shame there weren't more customers. I shared an enchiladas platter and a grande quesadilla with another person. Both were large portions and delicious! We all enjoyed our meals and it would be a regular stop if we lived in the area. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean with interesting tables and booths. Free chips and 2 salsas were served immediately.

I love these guys. I get the seafood fajita almost every time. It has shrimp and scallops in ample supply. The Husband and Wife team that own it will very likely be waiting your table, and they are extremely friendly! Prices are good, and service is quick!

DELICIOUS!!!! Stopped in for my boyfriends birthday, server was super sweet and the food was amazing!!! Definitely recommend!!!

We regularly order the fajita grande to go and split it between us. Comes with tortilla chips and salsa, rice, refried beans and lettuce with sour cream all on the side.

I would have given a quarter of a star but it wouldn't let me. I've had better tacos from a Food Lion taco kit. Dont waste your money or your hunger. first off, I damn near broke a tooth on the metal shaving that was in my salsa. The salsa has no flavor and tastes like red water. The chips are stale. The rice looks like something from an 5 minute rice box. The meat in the burrito is dry and has a weird taste to it. Im pretty sure the "cheese sauce" on the burrito is high gloss white spray paint. My son's lunch (a soft taco) was wet and the hamburger has 0 spice, looks like it came from a caulk gun and pretty sure it's fake. Do not recommend. I'd rather goto Taco Bell...

Took my family there. None of us finished our food. Some of the worse mexican food I have eaten, anywhere. The place was filthy, all our menu's had some sort of dirt on them, from large spots of salsa to chip residue. GROSS!!! Should have gone with my first inclination and left. Additionally we were seated my someone not wearing a mask, ok they were wearing it, but the whole mask was under there chin.We won't be returning and I should turn them into the health department.Gross!!!!!
