El Maya Mexican Restaurant

Food portions were very large. We had fajitas, enchiladas and chips; lots to eat and was cooked well. Tasted very good. Staff was very nice and bathrooms were clean! Only one person can use the bathroom at a time. Large parking lot in the shopping center. Took most of the food home. Didn't try dessert but wanted to, it looked good.

We were driving from the Virginia Shore to Ocean City and looking to stop for lunch. We stopped here because there was not a lot of people (covid times) and wow was it a good choice. Chips and salsa were fresh and the salsa home made. We ordered fajitas and camarones a la diabla and both were fantastic. I love that the diabla salsa was actually really spicy. My husband is from Mexico and really loved everything. Only slightly negative thing I would say is that the corn tortillas were not home made, but overall everything was great. Estábamos conduciendo desde Virginia Eastern Shore hasta Ocean City y buscábamos parar para almorzar. Nos detuvimos aquí porque no había mucha gente (tiempos de covid) y wow fue una buena opción. Los chips y salsa eran frescos y la salsa hecha en casa. Pedimos fajitas y camarones a la diabla y ambos fueron fantásticos. Me encanta que la salsa de diabla era realmente picante. Mi esposo es de México y le encantó todo. Lo único negativo que diría es que las tortillas de maíz no estaban hechas en casa, pero en general todo fue genial.

This was a huge disappointment! Service was very good and fairly quick but the food was a shame. Old pico de gallo with no flavor, old rice that seemed like a few days old and also no flavor and overcooked, taco meat tasted horrible and seems like can meat, nothing that we ordered tasted fresh or good. Also there's so many flies you have to eat while you wave your hands around to keep them off. First time I go to a Mexican restaurant that serves such crappy food. I hope you guys make significant changes or you'll be closed soon.

Best Mexican food i may have ever had. Had the chicken chimichanga and they were delicious. Very fast service, highly recommend.

The food here is out of this world good. The portions are well worth the money and the stuff is quick to refill drinks and take care of customers. I've never had a bad experience there. My co workers and I go every few weeks because it helps relax during a lunch break. It's a really nice place to eat.

I tried to call around 7pm to order a taco salad to go and the dude hung up on me!!! They are not getting my money tonight!!

We just finished our Texas fajitas for two. It could have fed four people. The meats and veggies were cooked well, the tortillas were wonderful, and our server, Juan, was great. We were greeted the instant we arrived by smiling folks and were treated great the whole time. The food is mildly spiced, so ask for spicier if you want some heat. I will do that next time.

Got shrimp fajitas. They were very flavorful and had lots of shrimp. All the sides were good as well, especially the salsa, but would've liked a little more guacamole. The churros were also really good- even 2 days later.

Horrible slow service. Wait staff keeps forgetting my table exists, and they're not even that busy.
