El Diablo Loco Cantina & Tequila Bar

My first visit to El Diablo was a fantastic experience! This cozy local spot offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the friendly staff. The food was bursting with flavor, and the portion sizes were generous and satisfying. On top of that, the prices are a great value for the quality and quantity of food you get. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return!

Service was fantastic! Drinks delicious! Ambience was fine and loved the decor. As for the food, it was just not what I was used to for Mexican food. I'm from Colorado where we get amazing Mexican food. I ordered enchiladas, which is my go-to decision maker on whether the restaurant is any good. The chicken filling was great, better than a lot of places I've been. However, the enchilada sauce was way off on flavor in my opinion, too thick, and not nearly enough sauce was on the enchiladas. My husband enjoyed his tacos and my son liked his burrito.

I ate lunch here with my daughter. Parking: streetAtmosphere: bright and livelyService: awesome. We sat at the bar, and the bar manager made sure we were taking care of it. She was very knowledgeable about the alcohol and beer. We had The margarita. It was delicious!!Food: we had taquitod, tacos, and wings. Everything was good. Overall, we enjoyed the food and conversation. I am definitely going back.

We came here Monday at 5pm looking for happy hour specials. FYI, they don't have one :(Their wings were a big hit!!I ordered the taco plate $16 for 3 tacos + rice and beans.The fried fish taco was absolutely amazing! The chorizo taco was overly lemony, not a fan. The shrimp taco was super fishy, I don't think the shrimp was fully cooked. My kid said the beef taco was too wet, it broke as soon as she picked it up. The chips and queso app was pretty good, it had a little kick to it. Mexican beer $2 per can on Mondays. The margaritas were a hit for my party as well. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves. Wouldn't mind returning to try something else.

Tried this place for the first time while visiting town, and loved it!! The service was quick and friendly and attentive. But what it really stood out was the quality of their food! Every thing I tried was fantastic. I got the three tacos with rice and beans meal. Blackened shrimp taco, brisket taco, and the gringo. Added on an app of chips and red salsa (it's not complimentary here but they give you a lot of bang for your buck) and they were so good! My favorite was the shrimp tacos. It's a lively taqueria / dive bar type of environment, but not overly loud or overwhelming. It was obvious this is a favorite spot of the locals. The *only* down side, the day I visited, their AC wasn't working, so it was HOT in there. Everyone was sweating. Heard mention from staff they may have close down til the AC is fixed. But overall it was amazing and I'll definitely be going back!

This place was pretty good. I thought the tacos were flavorful but they were a little messy. The tortilla only held up for a short time before losing all the contents. The salsa wasn't super flavorful or spicy but it wasn't bad. I thought some of the offerings were pretty unique but nothing too crazy. The server was probably the best part of the entire meal. She was attentive and so sweet- truly cared about taking care of the customers. I loved the atmosphere of the place also, the decor was super cute.

Very unassuming restaurant in downtown Phoebus excellent lively atmosphere. The food was delicious. I had the quesadillas with brisket chips and salsa, And my son had the quesadilla with brisket, beans and rice . They have Coke products and the lunch menu had a variety of things. If you're into Mexican Food and a lively atmosphere. Head over to El Diablo Loco it is DELISH!

Very good authentic hole in the wall Mexican spot. The food was great and our server was fun, friendly and attentive. Totally recommend!

Food: 4/10. I heard so much about the brisket nachos and Del Mar tacos but the flavor was lacking. The fish taco is very plain. It looks like a frozen fish filet and was full of grease, and Luke warm. Chicken tacos had the most flavor but was still very mediocre. I could make better tacos than what they provide. Service: 8/10. Pretty quick service on a Tuesday and happy hour. This would also explain why my food was lukewarm. I'm assuming they have stations in the kitchen for quick assembly. Ambiance: 7.5/10. It's your typical cantina.
