Eastside Pizzeria & Ristorante By Alaina

Before I begin let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's begin!.I have passed by this business on a number of occasions but never really gave it much thought to stop in until a couple of co workers mentioned that this restaurant was a sister company to Gianna's Pizzeria & Restaurant!. And let me say that this is the closet if not in comparison of NYC pizzerias!.So I decided it was time to try my hand, I was impressed with the pizza, it gave me the same vibe and feeling and also has the same restaurant resemblance as far as the table setup and bar area..I purchased the pizza special which consists of an 8" 1 topping pizza and if you wanted to add more toppings it was an additional $1.50 for each additional topping!. Not a bad deal...My only complaint, let's just say one of them is the mozzarella wasn't as authentic tasting as Gianna's.My other complaint or maybe I shouldn't compare restaurants to each other because what my co worker said about Eastside being affiliated with Gianna's may not be true, I forgot to ask so right now this is just a rumor. So if this is not true then I have no reason to compare this restaurant to another. So let me be the first to say I apologize for the mishap!. Overall I enjoyed the pizza and I will return again and if you are ever in the area I would suggest you give them a try if you are into pizza!. I'm giving a 5/5 based on what we had which was just a large NY Style pepperoni pizza. We did a pick up order. Called it in. They were friendly when we picked it up. They gave us plates and toppings but no napkins. It a delicious and it was what was expected thinking of a NY Style pizza. We just needed a quick lunch for us and the kids and this was a hit. It was delicious and would eat it again.

Went with a group of 6 or 7 for dinner. The service was great! I love Italian food so I was really looking forward to trying out this restaurant. I started with fresh mozzarella fried which was very good, I mean who doesn't like fried fresh mozzarella!! The sauce they had for dipping was very good so much so I wanted to have pasta with red sauce as my entree. Originally I was going to order chicken piccata. I ordered penne with sauce when the entree arrived the sauce was very watery like the pasta was drained good. The pasta was way over cooked. I swapped it out for another sauce with spaghetti pasta instead same situation. So unfortunately I didn't eat my pasta. Let's talk about the bread that was the best part of the meal to me. Not a fan of sharing with so many of us wish there was more of it. The other issue it came out very early so there was no bread left when our entree's arrived! Most of the other entrees were liked by my friends. My one friend raved about her dish she decided to try something she never tried before, and she was very happy. Two other people ordered pizza and like it very much. I have to admit the pizza look very good. I might go back to try pizza, but I'll stay away from the pasta. Another friend had ordered pasta like myself and she did not enjoy it as well, it was very watery. The lasagna was ordered by another friend, she said it was pretty good. Seafood pasta with red sauce was ordered by another friend, which came out with a garlic sauce instead. She thought that it didn't have enough seafood, not to mention it had a WHOLE garlic bulb in it. This is a little far for me to just go have pizza but if I'm ever in that area I might try it for pizza!

A gem of a place offering incredibly tasty food. You will want to start off with the garlic knots, ooey, gooey, doughy garlicky goodness served with a side of marinara for dipping. You're going to eat two so depending on your group size, you can do a full or half order. Main dishes such as the penne broccoli and shrimp scampi have delicious golden nuggets of roasted garlic and the perfect amount of sauce. Enough to coat the pasta but not drowning in a pool of oil. Hubs is a red sauce fan and absolutely loved the meat ravioli. We were in the area on vacation for a week, and he ordered this dish twice! If you didn't save room for dessert, get it to go because the carrot cake is probably the best you can have. Rich, dense, chuck full of carrots, coconut, walnuts and raisins.... It is ginormous and one piece would be enough for a table of four to share! Large room in the back offers an area for functions. Tables in the main dining room show off the pizza oven which offers its own entertainment as you dine. Love to watch the cook pull pizza after pizza out of the oven and slice it up! We mentioned to the manager we are from New England, know good seafood and good Italian... this place has both. You won't be disappointed.

Love the food and the service is always great, I love the chicken bella oh my goodness amazing! Chris was our waiter last time, good man! Great sense of humor and the canoli oh my i could eat 5 but I would be sick. Thumbs up, give them a try, you won't be disappointed

I was a regular at Eastside purchasing the Philly cheese steak and pizzas. I bought the cheesesteak on Wednesday and it was so greasy and salty I could eat it.. I complained they remade the sandwich on Tuesday. I got the same results greasy, soggy bread but it wasn't salty this time... it was still inedible. They have lost me as a customer of cheesesteaks.. I need a new place and suggestions.

I've been coming here since I was little. They've always been consistent with fresh toppings and great tasting pizzas. Our service has never been slacking whether eating in or taking out. Another place that gives your much needed loca pizzeria atmosphere.

My wife and I struggle with Italian restaurants but this one is ok. The service was just ok but it is a bigger restaurant and our server seemed to be slammed so we will give her some grace and we did. The food is good better than Olive Garden or carrabas. Not better than homemade if you can cook. We ordered the antipasto salad and lasagna which is the only Italian dish to go out for. It was nice evening with nice food.

Long time lover of Eastside. My all time favorite to order is the cheese ravioli, it is absolutely perfection! Lately I've also fallen in love with their pizza! So tasty!! I have dined in a few times and each time the waitresses that I have had have been really sweet. I have often ordered pickup and order was made correctly. Only downside that doesn't make me come back as frequent is that it's a bit pricey. More pricey than other Italian restaurants near me. Also their black pepper fries=delicious!!!

Waiter was great, as well as kids chicken tenders. The Ultimate steak & Cheese was not. Menu states fried onions, green peppers and mushrooms. Sub cMe with not one mushroom 4 little pieces of peppers and the waiter said onions are real small. No flavor from onions/peppers. Waiter did get me some mushrooms and peppers but they were all hard ( not cooked). Just heated up. Disappointed to say the least.
