I called to place an order for a family of 5. They said it would be ready in 10 mins. I drive up there to pick it up (about a 10min drive) and my order was already waiting for me. Service is fast! Everyone liked the chicken with garlic sauce. My husband liked the chop suey. The chicken fried rice was somewhat dry. The beef with broccoli was the least favorite. Typical take out ambiance with some tables/chair. Nothing special. I do think the clear plexiglass divider at the counter is a good idea to help prevent spreading germs.

This is our family's favorite Chinese delivery place. We've been faithful customers for 13 years! We've watched their kids grow up at this point The dumplings are to die for, and the teriyaki chicken on a stick is AMAZING.

Perfectly acceptable Chinese takeout place. I had the roast pork and chinese vegetables lunch special. It was a bargain at about $5. There was plenty of meat, the veggies were mostly cabbage, along with some snow peas and carrots. The overall flavor was a bit bland for me, but that may be my tastes more used to urban Chinese places. The VB courthouse area doesn't have a lot of strong lunch options, so this was a fine alternate to fast food. Two and a half stars, all things considered.

Okay, so not too shabby of a place when it comes to their food. It's your typical fast food Chinese take-out and I needed something quick. I mean, I always do want rice in my life. The chicken and mushrooms dish was pretty good. I had time to kill so I took my time eating and every bite was piping hot.I don't expect Chinese take-out spots to ever be decorated but they did had a starter trash can... the little one you'd have in your first apartment with trash overflowing. Plus the bathrooms were a little eh. I suppose these are the things a place like this needs to have good food.

Sometimes you just need to satisfy your craving for really cheap Chinese food and today was that day. Chicken Lo Mein with Pork Fried Rice. $6.50 (including a dollar tip) for a big foil dish of it that I brought back to the office and chowed down. Oh, so good. Relatively good, that is.Napkins and a fork in the bag, I'm glad I grabbed a couple packets of hot mustard as it was much needed.

The food was good and fast. They clearly want you to take out. The seating is quite limited. They have one child friendly toy though I must admit, I wouldn't let my kid touch it. The prices are a bit expensive in my opinion. I ordered a small chicken lo mein and a side of dumplings and it was $12!! Kind of ridiculous. I was also annoyed that the lady taking the orders was sitting and I couldn't see her behind the counter, she took my order, yelled it obnoxiously to the back, and then sat down again watching her foreign tv show on super loud! I'm kind of surprised they are still in business because unlike the heavy traffic in the other establishments, no one else left in front of me or came in behind me. It was good food but idk if I'd frequent again.

Adding some photos for Yelp. This location is in on the 'East" (get it? 'East'? Bada-boom, Ching---) side of the Harris Teeter shopping center down Princess Anne by the Municipal / Courthouse area of Virginia Beach. It is a good thing they didn't put this on the west side of the complex, because then they'd have to call it "West Wok", and that just doesn't roll off the tongue as well. -- Okay, enough of the weak jokes, to the review. There isn't too much to write that you haven't heard before as just about all Chinese take out places are very similar in price, menu, and taste. Family owned store. Food was prepared quick and tasted great, no complaints at all. They do accept credit cards, but they do not deliver. I'm going to give them 3.5 stars, and round it on up to four stars solely because the fortune cookie I got was cool. Why not! And I especially like the "Lunch Specials" section of their menu. Less than 5 bucks folks!

This place has pretty decent food in a reasonable amount of time. If you like sweeter/smaller crab Rangoon than at most places, they've got the hookup here at east wok. The staff is friendly and the kitchen always seems clean every time I've visited here. It's right next to great clips and shares a parking lot with several other businesses. There are a few dishes they do really well, like their generals tso's chicken and their lo Mein, however, their Kung pao chicken could use some work.

Straight up garbage. I have ordered five or six times from here. No craftsmanship or love at all in this food. Go elsewhere. Not worth my usual thorough review. Just believe me. Weeknight takeout Chinese should not be a punishment for having a hard day. If you live nearby there are other options.
