Doyle Way Park is a poorly situated, very small neighborhood park. Located on the end of a dead end, the park is bordered by I-264 on one side and is essentially an extension of a neighboring house's backyard on the other side. -- Offerings --The basketball court is the main attraction. Towards the back of the park (and near the neighbor's yard) is a very small play structure and two baby/toddler swings that are best for young children. There is one trash can, an aged wooden bench, and 2 picnic tables. -- Lack of Amenities --There are none of the following: no pavilion, walking path, other sporting equipment, toilet facilities, etc. -- Things to Note --Street parking only. Separating the park from I-264 is a chain linked fence and trees beyond that: there isn't any immediate danger, but the sound of fast vehicles is distracting. -- Takeaways --The location isn't peaceful, and it's too awkward to visit with the neighbors present (and it seems they might leave toys not in use in the park, making it feel even more like you're intruding on their backyard). Unfortunately, this park is not worth a visit, unless perhaps you live on this street and would like to access the basketball hoops.
