Dockside N' Duck

This was a last minute decision to stop in for shrimp when we couldn't get the large quantity we needed at Harris Teeter. The price was comparable to HT, maybe $2 more than the sale priced shrimp at HT but less than the shrimp at Food Lion. We could have driven to Kill Devil Hills for cheaper seafood but we didn't want to make the drive just for shrimp. The money we would have saved on the seafood would have been spent on gas. We needed 10lb of shrimp and there was more than enough in the store. We also took some mussels and used both for a seafood boil. They have everything you need in here including seasonings, utensils and sides. Conveniently located near Corolla which is where we stayed.

Can't say enough about the service and the quality of seafood they have. Very helpful and our seafood purchased was so fresh tasting. It was amazing. Highly recommend

Friendly, good service, the crabs were well seasoned but definitely had no substance, it was like bottom of the barrel and they sold it anyway. Not worth the money the second time I went. 1/2 Bushel the first time was worth it back in June not the second time. It was well lit and other varieties of seafood but did not have time to look. Disappointed...

Awesome Fresh Seafood, We were searching for a Seafood Boil experience & something that We could customize to everyone's liking. Dockside N' Duck came through totally for that customized experience and they provided Us with the best overall freshest Seafood @ the Best Price. Very accommodating & friendly!! There is no better place in OBX to get fresh raw sea food to cook or select items cooked for you (depending on what you are looking for.) We never go out to a restaurant while on vacation because their selection cannot be beat. I highly recommend their cocktail sauce which freezes well and their steamed shrimp and crabs is really good too. Don't see what you are looking for? The staff might have it in the back. Speaking of staff, they are wonderful and treat us like family every year.

We got the clam dip and the clam chowder. Both were great! I've never had clam dip before, and there were good amounts of actual clam in it. The clam chowder wasn't as thick as new england clam chowder, but it was still really yummy and flavorful.

Today, we ordered and made their Steamer Combo #1 with shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn. We also bought a side of their cole slaw. The steamer took 20 minutes and so easy to prepare for dinner! Don't miss their Steamer Combos! Easy and delicious! We could eat this every night. The woman, on the phone, was very polite and answered all my questions.

Steamed shrimp, clam and crab dip and tomato pie were all delicious and ready right on time!

The best boil in Duck! This is the third place we have tried during our last two visits to Duck and by far the best. We ordered twice during the week because it was so good. Quality products and a great value for the money. Plus you can repurpose the pot!

Grabbed a key lime pie twice last week and while the taste is still delicious, the quality is inconsistent/off. The first pie was never set... so we felt like we were just eating melted key lime ice cream. The 2nd one was firmer... but the graham cracker crust was very soggy and soaked in a light brown syrup that collected in the container. The jumbo shrimp was very fresh and delicious! Maybe 5 stars for me next year if the pie quality improves.
