Docker's Karaoke Pub

I finally found my place! Always feel like a home-y vibe. Tony is amazing as always and Heidi is always a welcoming bartender. I love their fried mushrooms, they're perfect for when you're drinking lol. If you're looking for a place to have a chill night of fun, this is exactly that place.

Docker's is a home away from home. The staff, is beyond amazing. They look out for everyone and work really hard to make sure everyone has a great night. Mrs. Tina, and Mrs. Heidi are there on Fridays and they go above and beyond every time. The weekend DJ for Karaoke Tony is absolutely stupendous. He is approachable, snd if you just speak with him moving your song up or back in line is something he readily does. If he realizes your song isn't available then he calls you up to pick again without removing your place in line. Now onto the food, the kitchen staff is wonderful, every meal i've eaten here ha surpassed my expectations for a small bar/pub located outside of the main downtown nightlife area. If Mama Inga(owner) is there and you can get the soup of the day, it's always been delicious and heart warming. She makes an amazing She crab soup. Finally Mama Inga has owned and managed a lil slice of home away from home for years. Docker's is a place where everyone is welcome and we're all one big docker's family. If you're looking for an ambient, sometimes quiet other times lively karaoke bar with pool tables you honestly could not do better than Dockers. Thank you always Mama, Tina, Heidi, Tony and the rest of the staff for taking care of everyone who comes through the door as if they are family!!!

Disorganized and lacking someone knowledgeable with working the soundboard and properly adjusting levels. Unable to hear yourself in the monitor (either not turned on, or very low). No rotation, people are just called in the order they put songs in, so if someone sings and quickly submits a new song, they end up getting called to sing for a second time, before other people have even sang their first song. Not sure if this was someone's first night, but it was pretty rough if who we saw was a regular KJ. Didn't try the food, but the drinks were reasonable.

I was hesitant to leave a review, because that would mean I would have to share this treasure with the world. They may never know the haven they provided for me, when I was seeking refuge from the world. But, they did. Everyone was welcoming to me; employees, even the strangers at the bar and tables, so many strangers walked up to me to say hello and welcome me.I've heard so many interesting stories of peoples lives. I heard deep thoughts from people I'd never met. I was able to be dumb and goofy with people I'd never known, in a bar I'd never been to before.My glass was never empty, and I never felt lonely in there, even though I never knew anyone before I walked in. I've been to many bars; I've been to many Karaoke places. Not many give a vibe that is so comforting and welcoming. This is one of those places you will feel welcome. This is one of those places that has the vibe you want to come back to.Yes it's Smokey. But that's how bars are. It's like "Cheers" where everybody knows your name. And you can sing, and it's okay if you don't sing perfect. And you can say hello to strangers and then they're not strangers anymore.You'll see mixed reviews. But take a chance; step inside; have a drink; say hello to a stranger. I'm sure you won't regret seeing with your own eyes and experience it for yourself. Make up your own mind. Be yourself in the space. It's no miracle or shiny new object, nothing outstandingly special of how it looks or is built. It is that bar hidden in the corner.They may never know the haven they provided for me, when I was seeking refuge from the world. But I am very thankful for them. They've made a difference in my life, more then they can know.

Karaoke 7 days a week is not bad. Food is okay. Drinks are hit or miss depending on the day who the bartender on duty is.

Great little find!!! The staff are super friendly, the karaoke is just the BEST! It has that "hole in the wall, family stays here" bar vibe. Very happy we went!

We were on our vacation in Virginia Beach and being a hardcore Karaoke aficionado my friend was desiring a venue where he could get his Karaoke on. Unfortunately, we found there were limited options around the beach front area, so after finding out about this place, we decided to give it a try and ventured inland.Hate to say upon first glance we were leery as from the outside it had a local dive bar vibe and, as obvious tourists, we did not know how the patrons would react to us. However, after our night was done, I honestly have to say that the staff here were among the nicest, kindest, and most welcoming that I have ever come across of any business venue that I can recall. From the moment we entered, we were treated like we were family. Our waitress was so nice, outgoing and down-to-earth. She had such a laid back pleasant way about her that put all of us at ease. Oh and the Karaoke was great! Coming from a Karaoke layman I'll say it was a spirited crowd and everyone was so encouraging, even when I went up there, being referred to as a 'Cherryoake' in tongue-in-cheek manner by the DJ, and proved to everyone who the all-time worst Karaoker was, with the worst voice to boot!Oh and Inga was also very kind to us and even gave us all a sampling of her homemade soup to go, which was delicious. Only regret I have, I'll say we as I am certain my friends share similar sentiments, is for judging a book by it's cover. Yes, this place is well off the beaten path, nowhere near the main tourist drag, and as a result, seemed intimidating to us uninformed tourists not having a clue. We were proven wrong by Inga and her warm and pleasant staff. Thank you for an awesome night!

Went here for the first time with a friend because they have karaoke all the time. Not a lot of the bars around here do. We don't go to a lot of straight bars because it's usually not our scene but we decided to go here.First thing I noticed right when we come in is the stench of cigarettes. Everyone is smoking which is incredibly annoying. INCLUDING THE BARTENDERS. The lady giving us our drinks was smoking while she was doing so. It's just gross and unsanitary. Which is why we didn't order food and we left after about an hour.Asked for a Guinness and they didn't even have that. Most bars will have them by the bottle, but nope. No drink menu either for my friend that doesn't really drink and didn't know what she wanted. The vibe seemed very "regulars only" type with random people going behind the bar constantly when they weren't working. All in all, I wouldn't go here again. I can't even bring some people here because I have friends with lung problems.

This place is trash; The bartenders refuse water based on whether they put some in a pitcher or not.... It sounds like this bar should just give up and shut down. The staff is rude af and gossips with clients about other people in the bar. From what I saw, I'd rather not try the food . This place could legit ruin your night, there are other bars close by, no need to worry.

The wait staff is nice friendly. however, it's is a smoke filled bar:( ventilation system is in efficient and they're non-smoking section is like a fishbowl with two little tables, and one chair why there's a high chair. I don't know who brings babies there! Lol kind of feel segregated from the rest of the bar. Kind of feel like you're in a fish bowl; shunned, isolated, and apart from:/ And the karaoke sound system is not great:/ kinda sharp like an at home karaoke machine:( didn't notice any food, or anybody eating.
