Quick and str8 forward. They had the firearm I wanted when no one else in Hampton roads didn't. AND it was priced right! For you fellow Vets They offer military discount. I don't think anyone else in the area offers this. Surprising for a military town.

Best service and knowledgeable workers and will be my go to place to buy a gun/rifle. I had Chris as my helper and took his time showing all the different guns available for my ccw.

My go to for anything gun stuff to FFL Transfers! My favorite small local gun store to go to compared to the big names and big giant gun stores in the area. Staff are very quickly to answer any questions. My 1st on my list to come here any day of the week!

This is my go to gun shop for buying instore and ffl transfers. The staff is very helpful, ask a question and they won't one word you, they'll actually elaborate on their answers and explain to you. Shop prices may be a little higher that what can find on line but they carry the guns that you're looking for plus you're supporting your local Business.... I highly recommend this store, I've had nothing but good experience is there

Awesome shop and a must if I'm in the area again. Stopped in while down this way from NOVA and couldn't have found a cooler place with kick arse staff and had a awesome selection of guns at great prices and ammo prices were at or below the going rate. All the guys at the shop were helpful and didn't mind pulling out what ever you wanted and even while there helped a new purchaser find the best option for there budget and feel. Great customer service very knowledgeable staff and helpful making suggestions for anything you might need. They have an awesome selection of firearms and can help you find anything they don't have already on the shelf. Bonus: they have a local house brand Triton MFG made right in Virginia Beach!!!

Awful experience. I had an order coming in from GunBroker at the beginning of June, I heard online that DOA had cheap transfers so I selected them. I called them beforehand letting them know and specifically asked if they needed any more information from me, to which they replied no. The rifle got there about a week later and I went in to pick it up the same day after work. The employee I was speaking with was extremely condescending and before I even had the chance to fill out a 4473, I was told I was too young to have the rifle transferred to me, despite being legally permitted to. The employee cited a store policy prohibiting them from transferring any type of weapon to adults under 21, which was never disclosed to me even after specifically asking if they needed any info from me before shipping the gun. After over a month of back-and-forth over what to do with the rifle (since the seller didn't accept returns) I ended up paying to have DOA transfer the gun to Freedom Outdoors where I was able to have the gun transferred to me with no issues at all.Overall, I had a terrible experience with DOA, not only because of their unconstitutional store policies, but also because of the attitude I was given by the staff. The dog was cute though.
