The cider is not great. Not bad, but not great. But we had heard that the Apple cider donuts were amazing, so we tried for several weeks to get them at the Williamsburg farmers market, but the woman who baked them apparently had broken her arm and had not returned to baking. Finally, one week, they were back! We were so excited. We bought a dozen, my son picked up the box, which promptly collapsed and spilled all over the ground. Half were still in the box. The guy said, "aw, well, you still have some..."Terrible customer service. When your box collapses, maybe say, "hey, that's our fault, here, have another six."Whatever. We figured that if they're that legendary, at least we got some. Well, they were terrible. Barely edible. It's rare that I can't find SOME aspect to say is worth the experience... but I'm at a total loss here.

Wonderfully friendly couple. The tastiest sausage I've ever eaten. I usually get their duck eggs but today it was goose eggs and they are wonderful, large and the yolk is yellow like the sun. Such a creamy texture they are my new favorite eggs.

We visited Ditchley Cider Works this past weekend. It's a lovely setting but the prices are ridiculously high for the cider ($18 per bottle!) and the food was way over priced. Ten dollars for a small wrap with hardly any meat in it. We all had to go home afterwards and eat a second lunch because we were starving. In order to retain customers, I'd recommend the owners try to be more generous with the portions of the food dishes and not charge so much for a bottle of hard cider. Just my suggestions to ensure repeat business. We won't be back.

Cathy Paul and Pam are all stars. The cider is lovely but really the two houses with the tasting room, and the awesome meat are real attraction here.

We really enjoyed Pam and Cathy. The ciders are good and the tour is a must. Cathy and Paul have done an amazing job restoring the mansion. Even if you aren't into cider, its a must visit if you are in the area
