Dinner Bell

I don't understand why this place has good reviews. I came here for lunch, and it took 25 minutes to get a burned steak sandwich, and fries that tasted like cardboard. Most of the meal ended up in the garbage. And they share a bathroom with a gas station, and it was gross, the water was overflowing from the toilet onto the floor. I would never ever set foot in this place again!

DELICIOUS food and great service!! Daily specials are yummy!! I also love their corn nuggets! The BBQ sauce is a little spicy for me but I'm accustomed to sweeter BBQ, it's still delicious!

Went there to get a traditional NC style Cheeseburger and French Fries. This means, "all the way"! That is cheese, mustard, onions and chili. They know how to fix them like I grew up with. The hamburger was perfectly grilled. The chili was traditional NC style without beans. All orders placed for take out is cooked at the time of order. I am surprised there are no reviews for this restaurant. There is limited seating with booths and table and chairs which is accessible in the adjacent gas station. There is a hot bar with fried chicken, which looked to be lightly breaded and not burned. Assorted vegetables are available on the Hot Bar also. Great fast service! We will definitely return.

Best restaurant in town. Breakfast is amazing and the daily specials are great. My favorite is the chicken cheese steak and the sausage link with egg and cheese on toast. Simple and delicious.

I found this little diner within a gas station on our way to OBX. Very good home cooked meal with a great and friendly staff. Will be our stop from now on..

My family and I pulled off for lunch on a road trip to the Outerbanks and luckily decided to head into the Dinner Bell! Luckily we did because you definitely wouldn't get a meal this delicious across the street at McDonalds! Everything was made fresh to order, from the burgers to the fried chicken, everything was delicious and everyone from the employees to the patrons were super friendly and welcoming! Thanks for a great lunch! Would definitely recommend stopping here for what feels like a home cooked meal!

Worst pancakes, I have Ever, ever. had. in my life. I do not know how anyone could. say that they have good food. It was the worst breakfast.

Food not fresh all the time. Owner not friendly to other racist . They need to be loving to customet

overpriced, and not good selection. they stay open due to limited options in our town.
